Could someone explain fully the rule the reason for Dans exclusion? I heard the referees explanation but I have never come accross this before.

Sorry to see the state of the track ( no curb visible on the back straight anymore ) and the ‘ centre green ‘ ( abandoned overgrown wasteland ) .
Leicester a cert for the play offs on home form alone.
Were you at the same meeting as me - I don't think so!

There as some very good competitive racing in the match v Scunthorpe although it does not show in the final result.

I did not see the Brummies match and therefore can't comment. Last nights match was not entertaining other than a coule of races. Last weeks match was more entertaining despite the score.

Since Stewart took over the racing has improved due to track alterations. When was the last time you came to Leicester to see a meeting?

Obviously there will be negative comments across social media once more details are recieved.
"Costs too much"
"Will drive people away from the stadiums"
But these people don't know what is entailed, i.e Production costs and staffing.
And often just stuck in the past, the Elite Ice Hockey League stream their games, which is very successful, and are in a similar position to British Speedway in terms of large travel between Tracks and Ice Rinks. Which Redcar or Newcastle fans are travelling to Poole to watch their team on a Wednesday night? Not many.
It works well for the British Basketball league where all matches are streamed free of charge.

But the PL no 8s may not get any rides.

I think that Glasgow will be favourites!

50 meetings ave 5 races a meeting = 250 races. Engine service every 35 races = 7 services a year £500 per service = £3500
2 x Bikes to start the season less engines 5k each so current running total £13,500.
Then throw in kit like boots, helmets, undersuits if all fresh another 2k so around £15,000 thus far.
Then its running costs a set of clutch plates will be £100-160 (depends what he uses) and is likely changed every 1-2 meetings so anything from £2500-8000
Then of course there is all the other running costs, items that get bent, broken along the way, engine blow ups etc that need to be accounted for.
If Lawson sources his own van that will have costs attached also so its not overly hard to see how the costs can rapidly add up for a better end UK based rider.
Oh and of course there is around 6k on hairbands, shampoo and conditioner after ever meeting
Less the value of his sponsorship!

He held his own as a third heatleader when really, he shouldn't have been in that position to start with. I am really jealous that yous have signed him. Connor will easily hold his own at number 4 imo. Or even number 3
1. Nick Morris
2. Dan Thompson
3. Connor Mountain
4. Kyle Howarth
5. Richie Worrall
6. Joe Thompson
7. Anders Rowe
WHAT A TEAM!! Always gonna have one amazing reserve (two tbh if Joe kicks on also) and 3 brilliant heatleaders. I would put Kyle at 4 to strengthen heat 14, so there's a strong end to the meeting. And as I say, Connor should hold his own at number 3 imo
Connor is a Leicester asset!

Brilliant to see 8 clubs riding in the NL next season, really excited to see how Plymouth get on. Any predictions in team building for any of the clubs? Massive step forward
Will Leicester lose Trigger and Ward?

Or you could run a fit for purpose RR system that allows all eligible riders to take seven riders max each at any meeting..
Many riders DU to make ends meet so, (given so few meetings run with full contracted teams), many would average around six riders an evening, which can only help their coffers..
And also, very importantly keep the meeting as a credible entity which may mean more punters go along to watch...
And find at the end of the season that teams are struggling to complete their fixtures!

Very much doubt IOW will be back after how they were treated and the dirty tricks campaign against them.
In reality its Armadale, Berwick, Belle Vue, Mildenhall and probably Leicester. Then its the new entries / maybes Redcar? Oxford?. Think Northside 2023 will be a thing but for next season the clock is probably against them to get finished, signed off and build a team etc
Leicester have already said that they will run Cubs team in the NDL!

There is a difference between signing and announcing names! A might have already signed 7 riders but not announced the names!

The incentive is that someone in front may retire and then the person in last place would be gifted a point.

Working on track records of Belle Vue, Sheffield and Peterborough which appear to be the three fastest tracks, the respective speeds are Alwalton 68.3 mph, National Speedway Stadium 67.4 mph, and Owlerton 65.8 mph. I can't remember what Exeter's record finished but I believe that was the fastest of all. Are there any others that I don't know of.
Crewe was fast!

1. Adam Ellis 7.66
2. Connor Mountain 5.19
3. Jake Allen 7.72
4. Jordan Palin 5.90
5. Thomas Jorgensen 7.28
= 33.75 with no reductions for being British

7. Ryan Kinsley 1* (3.00 av)

Did anyone see the visit of Catherine Southen to Kings Lynn speedway. The clip showed Catherine the history of speedway and some riders demonstrating racing. It wasn't brilliant but it did promote the sport.
