The bspa may learn something from all the comments re price on the gate prior to the offer and the price offered by sky. Just hope now the place is packed. -

Benefit Fund Bonanza, Leicester 09/03

Apart from the racing lines and the fact that this was the first outing for most of these riders this year, can anyone post how the individual Brits performed. Example was BB awful or were there circumstances relating to his score. -

Will be interesting seeing the track either on a visit or sky. If it is as bad as some say many away fans will not visit and the club will suffer. It is good that they have moved up to EL but they need to get the track right. -
Stop debating it then

Agree Sidney, and agree with most of the previous comments from ER. Nick ideally needs to ride abroad but his only option initially may be to d/u, but keep improving this year while pushing to get in to a foreign team during this season.
-
Nick will be in a tough position as most of his races will be against other heat leaders, but this may be what he needs and it may help him progress further. The way the averages will work out, due to the protected riders, if Simon or Nicolai go well they could be pushing Nick for the third heat leader position, again this could spur Nick on. He needs to get either a position with a PL club or ride on the continent as extra meetings seem to keep him sharp.

That is what happens when you give a dick head a bit of authority, power goes to their head.

Nick Morris going great in the Ben Fund this afternoon. 1333 beating Woffinden and Craig Cook who is also going well. GB won 45 39 but bet Rosco is very happy with Nick who was the top scorer for ROW. In the individual Nick beat Pedersen to get to the final, but in a battle for first with Cook both came down and race awarded. 1st Cook, 2nd Grajczonek, 3rd King. Both riders up and ok.

By the reports Leicester is packed for the Ben Fund, £16 for Adults. I know it is the first meeting this year and the sun is out but the price must have some effect. -

When Will The New Race Format Be Out & How Can Teams Name Riders When They Don't Know It?

The bspa web page says 2 points for an away draw in the rules but it does not say what year the rules are for. -
The crowd at Swindon goes up when Poole visit. They are exciting meetings and the other reason is because we usually beat them.

It does seem to be something the authorities do not do. It would not get it right every time but it would help reducing the loopholes that seem to be there after changes take place.

Would like to see a change to a few meetings if they can find the time, also this would enable them to have to meetings spread around the country which would probably get more fans attending. -

It would be better if both teams had to declare at the same time, then one or two changes in expected line up may spice the meeting up. -
Rory Schlein - Team Gb - Would You Be Happy?
A ORLOV replied to Daniel Smith's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Which is different to most other sports where they change nationality, some at the drop of a hat. I am not saying that that should happen. -
Swindon have arranged a meeting on thurs March 27th against some team from darkest Dorset, their first home meeting. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2136.1 This should be a good meeting and It is the first leg for the Elite Shield . Also the Bob Kilby meeting has been moved to the end of the season so you do not have to worry about your family lunch date Red Robin

The Danish team are not having a test at Kings Lynn this year, GB should have arranged something there and it would have been good to have had a few meetings against clubs or made up sides. It is good they are using the Ben fund as a run out but more should be arranged, hopefully they will do.
