Building team loyalty is important TonyE, but then if you have a team av limit as low as 41 or 42 most teams have to get rid of riders, so much for team loyalty. The averages of the teams this year mean that eight out of the ten teams have to get rid of riders if the limit for 2013 is 41 and 5 have to if 42 is the limit. Approx team points used. Peterborough has bought in a couple of riders whos average has increased this year, which one or two will you have to get rid of. This does not help with long term thinking and planning.

If possible I would keep him Tigertas

A couple of the other names used have not posted for a while either, maybe the mods have sussed them out so probably a new one on the way. I am checking one suspect out though who is posting under the name stevebrum, :D

That would be fine leaving about 4 for the other reserve, but still not sure if Batch or Hans is best option as number 1..

The approx av total of the present team is 45.25, last declared averages, and it seems that that the new limit will be around 41or42. The total needs to reduce by 4 or 5 so is is better to have only one of the current top two, and only replace one of the others, or keep Hans and Troy and have less points available for the reserves. I agree with others and would like to keep PK and have Nick and Jason continue as d/u riders, as they seem to ride better the more meetings they have. If we keep Nick and Jason as d/u riders we could continue to use Seb and poss LB. PK at 6.82, Nick at 5.87 and Jason 6.38 give a total 19 app, Hans has 8.09 and Troy 7.72 which if both were kept = 34.88 which leaves 6 or 7 for the last two. Can anyone confirm the av that Zengi would have as his inclusion in place of Hans or Troy could give a few more points for the reserves. The other major point is which riders will be available. Will Jason be riding for Poole, Troy or Hans for the team they are an "asset" of. .

No posts thankfully are possibly due to enforced absence

Would be happy with both Red Robin and yerropes but the points limit may mean we can only have one or the other, but agree about Killer and Nick.

Who mentioned "top form" game on, also maybe I should have put a smiley face on comment as 03230 is not consistant. But 8 from a 7point average rider on an away track is not too bad
-
He certainly got his form back last night Star Fever, but does need to be be a bit more consistant.
-
Does a rider have to be an asset of one club, as if he is good enough can he agree his own contract with any club for a period of time and at the end of that contract decide who he wants to ride for.
-
I will give you a tenner Gary
-
I would like to see Magic and Zengota but they need to be more consistent, and would always support Zagar if signed up.
-
ER do you mean that his converted average will be too high or he will not be allowed to double up as my understanding is that providing a rider stays in the PL without a break they can double up. This may only refer to British riders though. The other issue could be that Simon also seems to want to double up, and would be worth a look at if when used was at reserve. The rest of the team you listed is fine by me, but I am hoping for a higher points limit.

Would want to keep Jason and Nick as d/u riders and possibly Lasse and Seb as well.

Nothing wrong with camping, the sites have to have the required facilities, unless you just pay a farmer to set up a tent in his field. I am sure there are plenty of sites on the coast within 15- 30 mins journey, or near a train station to travel into Cardiff. -
Why would you want K Bjerre instead of keeping NKI, only .61 more on the average score. Use the calculations that Poole uses to get under the limit.

Fully agree would far rather see an old meeting. They could actually show some of the old meetings through the winter on a monday night. -

It is not the doctor who states when a race can be run, it is the person controlling the meeting who should have been aware that the doctor was not on the track. It is possible that there were two fully qualified medical people at the stadium and that one was on the centre green. If not the doctor should inform the person in charge that he is leaving the track, maybe he did, in which case it is not the doctors fault. -
You could easily reduce the number of heats by not having too many riders in the Qualifying Meeting. Reduce it to 10 or 12 riders.
