Well Sheffield rode on a Thurs a few weeks ago! So if they can use one of our nights then we can use theirs!!

Of course they can but if there are any d/u riders, they would be riding for their PL clubs if they have meetings

If Poole cannot fit the meeting in by the cut of date the club going forward to the final could be the winners of the meeting at Ipswich

  2. Although a larger top league would be good I cannot see many clubs wanting to move up with the way the top league has acted in previous years to those that have moved up, most of which dropped out after one season, too many politics and if shown on tv not enough money is paid to cover those fans that stay at home and watch the meeting on tv.

The cost of the riders is higher and unless the teams are weakened or the costs reduced how many PL clubs can afford to move up?

Should be a very good crowd. Coach load of aces fans. And a coach load of berwick fans. And berwick fans make lots of noise. So hopefully will be on our side seen as we have jye

Also quite a few who are going to Cardiff usually do Swindon tonight, Somerset tomorrow then Cardiff saturday.  There are often fans from Poland and this year there is a group over from Australia for a while who are going to be there, so it should be a good crowd.

Speedway is heading down the F1 road, the only time there is an overtake is if someone makes a mistake

You will see plenty of overtaking at the smooth Swindon track, especially by the Swindon riders when Poole are the opposition.

Could have been but we don't know of course. But 5pts from their rides was not pretty. One of them would normally have doubled that score on their own.

Swindon though can only beat what they had before them. Proctor was awful though. Guess we need someone like Harris when we take on Poole.

Track looked the slickest I've seen it in a while. Probably not to our boys liking. But there was some good racing, Lambert and Ellis in particular. Could have done with that Ellis in the final last year:rolleyes:

I don't like losing, but if you are going to lose one I'm glad it's to Swindon so they have the chance to top the league.

Now all we have to do is stop Poole from beating us. Nice and grippy for that one Buster:t:

Just try to get a better guest for thurs, please

    Carl Johnson and Buster Chapman have both said the club will run in 2020 and lessons will be learnt.. Time will tell but top league please just with a better team and a bit of luck ;

But certain people often state lessons will be learnt, but they never do learn from their mistakes, it is the usual excuse for cocking up.

You have to feel for Poole. Week after week we're told about the brilliant racing and how smooth the track is and then the TV cameras arrive and again it's bumpy, follow the leader, dross. How unlucky can you get. :D

It was bumpy when Swindon were there when in one race both Holder or Kurtz and Tobi were bouncing off the saddles.

Smallest crowd I have ever seen here. Terrible.

Track is looking good. Had a chat with Tatum and he liked what he saw. He thinks Swindon v Poole semi final.  Think this is going to be a close one.

People are not wasting their money watching a meeting on a dodgy track

Well this looks like Swindon's to lose now.Tofty has just gone to hospital after a bad looking crash at Newcastle tonight.Although he got up,according to updates it didn't look good with the  crowd going very quiet. That's when you know it didn't look good.

Best wishes to Tofty and Greaves and lets hope it's just precautionary.

Tofty and Jorgensen are irreplaceable around Lynn, hard enough with one out but if it is indeed two is out then Swindon have to be looking at 4pts.

Maybe Bewley or Wright for Toft if he isn't fit.

That is a hell of a shame and wish both well.

batchelor won't fancy it after the shennigans of a couple of seasons ago with chris holder about the track and chapman sacking them on transfer deadline day lynns home advantage will see them home !!

Since Batch scored 12 points in each of our last two visits to KL I would think he would again want to show Chapman what he has been missing.
