No, but it does not help if the opposition dig holes or ruts in it and only they know where they are etc.
-
Providing the Peterborough track has not been doctored this should be a good meeting. Swindon need to get some points to stay ahead of Poole and are quite capable of getting some.
-
Swindon need KL to win this to keep them at the top of the table. Both teams have rider issues so it could go either way.

The way things currently looking, Swindon won't need any big slices of luck to win the title/playoffs. Fair play to them for sensible and shrewd signings plus finally getting the best out of Perks. Only Wolves imo stand in your way.
In either the semi or final

Reports have surfaced outlining proposals for redevelopment at the East of England Arena - but Chapman insists this will be a longer term project. He said: “We are in dialogue with the management at the Showground who have kept us in touch with developments. “Whatever happens, it’s not an overnight situation. I fully expect the sport to continue at the venue for the next few seasons without actually putting a timescale on it. “The Showground have been superb in keeping me updated and have been reassuring. There will be Speedway there next year.”
It is good that Peterborough will continue but in which league ?

So much for THJ being a good signing and I read that Klint hit a rut on bend 1 in heat 15, oh dear

If we are going to have a top division again it needs two or three additions, seven clubs just doesn’t work.
Liked the idea of home win more than 6 3 points
home win by 1-6 home team 2 points away team 1 point
or bring back the bonus point for aggregate score.

Even with NKI signed for Ipswich the Robins can win this one

For a meeting against Poole, Wimborne Road Poole
There is an extra car park proposed, plus parking in the town centre and bus travel, so most will likely use the housing estate around the stadium

Matt is getting desperate to sell out so worth an offer of £100, even though he is worth more.

Just saying.
They should have started that a couple of months ago, it is too late now.

As long as everybody reports the idiots when they slip up, rather than let them wreck decent threads.

More there than I thought there would be, with two meetings in one week and with weak opposition. I would guess over 1000.

Enjoyed the meeting and the racing despite the score from Peterborough.
Nick Morris improved as the meeting went on, and just hope if we should meet Wolves in the play offs his guesting does not come back and bite us at home.
All the Robins rode well and now have to look forward to three away meetings on the trot.

I see that a new set of plans have been submitted in July.
The stands and pits are shown on the north side of the stadium between the track and Lady Lane.

At the moment the top four are very close which helps

Our last home meeting this season but with three away meetings against Ipswich, Peterborough and Kings Lynn, any of which could be tough will we stay above Poole in the League table.

If it is as low as mentioned it will be interesting hearing Bill and Ben bigging up the size of the crowd.
