peterborough is a better race track than Foxhall. But whatever track it is you need 2 evenly matched teams. It's no fun watching at Peterborough if there riders gate and disappear. You get bad meetings anywhere

no I won't post under the Belle Vue thread as Belle Vue are of no importance to my team Ipswich. I'm discussing that Cook is in poor form which could carry over to the premier league. Now Edinburgh are a rival of my club so it's quite relevant that I'm debating it on the Edinburgh thread. Quite rightly if he bangs in maximums for you boys then you don't care but what if he scored only 8 or 9 in the next few meetings would it not be a concern? Try to stop being so precious in what you post about wonder boy and try having a debate

second elite league meeting tonight and at least he managed to beat Ashley Morris. Poor performance from Stead to. Seems the premier league top 2 aren't equipped for being elite league riders. Im a premier league fan but the gulf between the leagues is vast

I've said it loads of times I would love Cook at Ipswich. Even if he rode for us he would still be a bit of a prat with his comments and ego but you would want him in your team. All I'm saying is he needs to grow up and mature a bit and in my opinion he isnt going to get any higher in the sport

Dear me its quite pathetic really. Are you not allowed to make an observation on riders without fans jumping on you. Cook is a top premier league rider. Will he ever be a gp rider? No WIll he be a top elite league rider ? No Its not jealousy i would love Cook as my number one at Ipswich. Poole should win this comfortably by at least 20 points. Kennett , Bech and Lawson are no match for Magic, Gomolski and North around Wimborne Road and the reserves will outscore their Lakeside counterparts easily. The only Lakeside rider i can see scoring more than his opposite number is Jonsson outscoring Holder

I notice Cook threw a paddy for Belle Vue at Wolves and sulked again. Shocking attitude. Was even beaten by Bates as well. As ive said before he has reached his potential. Top premier league rider and average elite league one. British Number 2 at a time when the uk has only 3 top riders in Tai Nicholls and Harris he would more than likely never even made a British Final 20 years ago. Still he is a class act for you boys so you cant complain, however i think Masters may get a better average this year

Fancy this will be closer than a lot of our Foxhall meetings v the rebels. Worrall , Josh and Kurtz are more than a match for our top 3. We need Rohan to find his form in this one. Lanham and Wright could be as good as Cam and Ritchie if he isnt fully fit yet. However i feel we are stronger at reserve I said at the start of the season a lot would depend on Cam and Gino. At the moment Cam is looking like he could move up to heat leader so Gino and Rohan are the 2 worries plus Ritchie not being fit. Covatti is up and down and Stefan to me is struggling. I think we can nick this by 4

Yet again you excel in the daft post area. Use your brain for once SCB is saying the track should be prepared for the home team and not the away team. Surely thats what speedway is all about! Dont talk stupid about riders getting injuries when you were quite happy to let the Poole riders race on at Belle vue in dangerous conditions werent you. spot on. A track can be made to look either good or poor by the opposition. Peterborough can be a great track with two even teams. Otherwise it's as boring as anywhere else

Said it before and I will say it again you get boring meetings at Peterborough a lot when they set the track up like that. One line by the fence and hope you hang on. Having said that our boys were awful with the exception of King and Heeps. I said this side to me was weaker on paper than last year and I stand by that. Is King , Gino and Rohan as heat leaders stronger than Worrall , Risager and Rohan? I would say similar. Are Cam and Ritchie H as second strings stronger than Cam and Gino? No Are Nielsen and Nico as reserves better than Ellis and Ritchie H? No We are destined to be around the top 6 again but nowhere near strong enough to win it. We will win most at home but unlike some tracks we don't have huge advantage and some teams will win or draw at Foxhall and I cant see us getting a lot away

So Swindons number one arrives not fit and then Batchelor gets taken out of the meeting so Swindon are without their top 2. You know exactly that the Poole fans will crow how wonderful this win is!

I think Glasgow got the moral victory here. To run Edinburgh to only 9 points missing 3 riders can only augur well for the league meeting. Can see the bragging rights in Scotland shifting

why? If someone writes a daft response that at least 15 people think is ridiculous is it bullying for those people to tell that person he is wrong. where on earth do you get that from? starman was proved wrong on the Jerran Hart thread. He asked when Hart would be released. He was told he already had. He was told to read the thread. He ignored what he was told and hurled abuse. If you think he 'wiped the floor' with people you are very very wide of the mark. And if you call this a 'gang' its quite pathetic. he was told by at least 10-15 people

People go on about ganging up on others on here. Im sorry that doesnt happen. Bullying is picking on someone for the sake of it. That dosnt happen on here. We respond to others and debate. What myself and others struggle with is to respond to people who will not listen. If anybody needs prime examples of Sidney and Starman being in their own angry little worlds then read the following: The Robert Lambert thread where Sidney flatly refuses to accept what anyone tells him about Morten Risager. It is pointed out by everyone he is wrong yet all he does is argue and get to a point where he abuses people. The Jerran Hart thread where Starman is given an answer to a question by everyone but instead of reading the thread abuses everyone. These 2 can not debate they cant accept if they are wrong. I apologise to other members idf i get irate with these 2 and maybe i shouldnt post when they do. But people please realise that the daft posts from thes 2 are the reasons why the forum descends into arguments, nothing to do with the people doing the responding

Mark never really hit the heights in league racing but had a good year at Poole in 1999 and 2000. That was in the days when the Poole track was good lol. The track he hated the most was Peterborough and he had a poor year there in 2001.

Absolutly mate. My uncle used to give him £50 over the pit wall at Hackney on a Friday night and we had some great times with the Loram family including his mum Vi , Dad Paul and his grandad who we used to call 'pop' My aunty was his biggest fan and he gave his 1997 British final winning race jacket to her. My aunty died in Feb 2000 and Mark came to the funeral so unfortunatly she never saw him become world champion. Still see Mark at Foxhall now and again

I do not 'gang up' on anyone. I dont suffer idiots and i get wound up dealing with one in particular. i draw anyones attention to the Jerran Hart thread when a certain poster was completly wrong. Was told by everyone how wrong they were yet still called peoples names and responded with child like comments. when told by everyone he was wrong he could not apologise yet still hurled insults. yes i responded but it winds me up that someone is that pathetic. I had a good debate with Poole fans at the start of last season as i said Magic would be a weak link and would cost Poole. What i then did was hold my hands up at the end and say how wrong i was.
