what has Poole fans quoting Zagar for to do with what Brum said? It's getting boring you twisting things just to have a dig at the same people. Poole need guests and the best available will definatly be Zagar ability wise just maybe not commitment wise. It's a fair point to make yet you have to write something daft again. And the Rosco quote is a tad tiresome

not writing them off but if you look where they were 3 years ago they haven't actually gone forward. As you say there is still time but they should be knocking on the door of the gp's quite loudly but they are not. When you see Smolinski and Harris in there then you would think Janowski in particular should be almost there by now

Quite often a lot of the young poles flatter to deceive Over time we had: Pepe Dados Hampel Kujawa Zabik Dudek Janowski Prez Pawlicki Out of those only Hampel went on to be true world class Piotr Pawlicki has the potential but can he fulfil it. We seen Janowski and Dudek not really go with their careers after winning the World Under 21 maybe younger Pawlicki can buck the trend

There are seriously some issues with some people on here! Why is there a discussion? My team (Ipswich) have been in both. I much preferrred the racing in the late 80's early nineties to what i saw in the 2000's and even now. However give me premier league racing over elite league any day of the week. My opinion is i get to see better racing then i did 5 or 6 years ago. The Elite league is the top league as it has the better riders. Those trying to say the Premier has better riders are talking out of their backsides. Yes the Elite league isnt what it was 10 or 15 years ago but it is still the best riders. I still enjoy my speedway at Ipswich far more than i would if we were in the Elite League though. Different teams to watch and good racing most of the time.

You get good racing in either league depends on the level of opposition. At Ipswich in the all conquering side of the late 90's the racing was crap. We thrashed teams and the racing generall wasnt great. I know in some Poole's fans minds thats Utopia but it wasnt good. Same as when we were struggling in the Elite League and getting thrashed ourselves. Have to say ive seen much better racing in the Premier than the Elite and its fair to say that the Premier league matches on Sky have been far better than the elite league ones. The Elite league may have the better riders but the racing isnt as good

I totally get what you are saying but its not easy to control From my club Ipswich heeps started at number 2 and Manzares at 4. We had 2 Brits at reserve in Hawkins and Ellis. Gino has been a revelation but if he wasnt we could have had Manzares and Heeps at reserve both non brits. Are we supposed to have non brits through the team as because during a season a young brit can improve past a foreigner

how is this anti Poole! A rider had failed a breath test and should be banned irrelevant of who he rides for. Your views on that rider are quite clear by your silence on the matter

Its not a view on Darcy try reading the posts. its talking about the limited choice of guests Poole have which is something totally relevent to the meeting that was actually bought up on page 3 of this thread and discussed at length by people including Poole fans. Didnt see you at any point then say it had to be moved yet you wait for page 11. Its your own fan starman causing the issues so maybe you need to chat to him. And if you think that Darcy missing isnt relevent to the Lakeside meeting...............its totally relevent to any meeting Poole ride as your number one is missing!

No they wouldnt but Ward is in their team and should be riding but isnt because of another off track incident. If he was injured you could say Poole are unlucky like Kings Lynn are with NKI. The fact is Ward has in all probability cost them the league yet is still hailed as a god down in Dorset

afther the good run of results a bit of a reality check for us. Adam struggles here and Cam and Richie H didnt cut it either and 5 from r/r maybe Gino would have added a couple. Well done Plymouth and fingers crossed our boys can be more dialled in for the cup match

please get real about the situation. He was over the limit to ride a speedway bike. now everyone is trying to find a way out of it because its Darcy Ward and he is world class. Do riders need support time and time again! He has been supported time after time and yet throws the support back in peoples faces by doing somethig stupid and disgracing himself. The time comes when you have to say no more. If an offender keeps offending when being released do you keep releasing him or do you finally lock him up for good. The worst part is the disgusting attitude of your promoter 'fingers crossed he gets away with it' see up you pipe again to defend. your posts are a joke and you add nothing to discussion. Would be nice to read that you are sad to see Ward get into trouble yet again and im ashamed to say he has let my club down but hopefully he can sort himself out and get back to riding for Poole. what planet are you on? Stevebrum pointed out a list of guests that Poole could use in Darcys absence. A normal post. You then like a fool have a cheap shot at a perfectly reasonable post. Myself along with a supporter of your team in foreverblue stated it would be hard to replace Ward adequetly. Why then do you say have i been on the phone to Brum? Your post just lack any form of sense!! If you think Poole are getting guests as good as Darcy then let me know. Kildemand comes close but Bjarne and Bridger!!! Still your posts do give the forum members a chuckle the better team will win over 2 legs agreed. However if Darcy was riding and scored say 13 and 14 you would have more chance of winning then say Bjarne or Bridger riding and scoring 8 or 9 If you go out the play offs and Darcy's replacements dont score well then its fair to say Darcy Ward cost Poole the league in 2014

Foreverblue is a decent Poole fan. His comment was tongue in cheek hence the smiley and so was mine. If all you can do is whinge and moan about posts you dont like then you will be here a while. Marks best 2 seasons were 1999 when he basically won everything and 2000. I agree he was never touted as a serious contender but then he did come 5th in 1999 after missing a round and having a shocker in 1 of them after crashing. He was only 5 points off of a rostrum place which he surely would have got if he had rode in the 1st one. 5 points behind a true great in Nielsen and ahead of the likes of Adams Crump and Hancock. Think its fair to say the top 2 in Rickardsson and Gollob were ahead of everyone. In 1999 Mark Loram was arguably int he top 5 riders in the world the same in 2000 so he was a contender in my opinion

Poole got away with it a bit there sneaking a point due mainly to Newman taking Comptons rides. Can only see Coventry for the league now why in your strange world is anybody pointing out facts having a dig? Brum was merely pointing out that Poole will be weaker without Ward and there are not really any guests up to the task. Even your own fans can see that and have actually put forward intellectual debates and postings. Unfortunatly you have this desire to have a moan at the same people all the time for merely saying what all Poole fans are saying. Please try and add something sensible to the debate
