    Belle Vue V Wolves 16-07-14

my you do struggle to add any intelligence to a debate
  3. ok so you are rubbishing everyones suggestions yet coming up with nothing yourself! come on add something decent to the debate and we can mock you ok put in the Garritys and the Kerrs and watch them be thrashed. its no good for there development at all. let them get better at elite league by moving up and getting in the main body or even a heat leader role first. by all means have them around but not in the 4! People moan about a lot of the draft riders being out of their depth and not helping their careers yet are quite happy for our World Cup team to be the same
  4. Lambert possibly on a par but Lawson isnt in my eyes. Just think Barker is a better option than Stead good reasoning! 90% of people on here are saying it shouldnt be Stead at Lynn. Barker is my choice as the 4th rider and i agree there is a case for Cook but his form has dipped at the moment, and possibly Lambert. Nobody else should even get a sniff of being in the 4
  5. My uncle as i said before used to sponsor Mark Loram when he was at Hackney and then at Ipswich for a while. I can tell you now that when Mark was World Champion he was expected to be here there and evrywhere 7 days a week. he made no secret of the fact that at that time his best equipment was in Poland as that is where the money is. Peterborough is a track Mark never liked (from the time Mick Poole fenced him deliberatly and he broke his wrist). However it is a fair fast track and therefore a lot of riders fly round there. Mark not being a gater often found it difficult to catch people up round there as it was just a throttle open and go place. Those are the reasons his average dropped. Tai has exactly the same things going on as Mark did but Mark never short changed any team he rode for never putting in more than 110% effort every time he took to the track. Tai isnt doing that. As much as i admire him as a world champion and his charity work he is kidding the Wolves fans
  6. no thats why i suggested Barker! yes me. Did he top score in the British Final on a track he hates...............Yes Did he finish ahead of Harris in the final and but for an error would have been 2nd................Yes Did he do well at Lynn in the World Cup a few years back............Yes Has he experianced this level................Yes Will he give 110% ..........................Yes Please come up with any reason why you think he shouldnt be in the 4? ok so who do you suggest? I cant believe some fans? Is the idea to do the best we can or put the kids in and get stuffed? The strongest 3 are Tai , Harris , and King and if Scott was available he would be in and that would be the best 4 we have who could make the final. What rubbish to put a Kerr or Garrity in the 4! By all means i want them round the squad to get experiance but they should be miles away from the team. Same goes for Lambert at this stage of his career. He will be ready and more accomplished next year. The only bone of contention is the 4th rider. Stead,Cook, Barker are about the same level but round Lynn i would have Barker. Do we want something to shout about with the possibility of making a final or get beat by the usa again? Come on people get behind your country!
  7. Cook isnt good enough at this level proved time and again. I agree that Stead is a backward step but apart from Stead and Barker who else is there? Do we want to do as good as we can or put the kids in and get humiliated? That will do them wonders! Not bitterness he is just stating the facts
  8. I agree should have Ben Barker round Lynn

    Swindon - Poole 10/ 7/14

The Poole troll Shovlar leaves the forum and we have a happier place. Please Starman dont try and take his place!
  10. The scoring system in the final could be 4-2-1-0 that way a reward goes to the rider winning the race and in the event of any exclusion still means there is something to race for in the re-run rather than the farce that was caused the other night in watching Masters poodle round telling Fricke where to ride thus robbing the public of any sort of race

ive read some daft stuff on here but do yourself a favour mate and get off the forum if you are going to make daft statements. you obviously are not a fan of the sport if you think Hancock is a cause of the sport not being popular.

Anybody you admire that doesnt ride for Poole lol In all seriousness Holder 'grew up' and now maybe Darcy might slowly do the same. It was good to see him ride with his head at Cardiff for a change as usually he would be winding it all on hitting ruts and coming down. Maybe his earlier fall made him realise he had to respect the track for a change.

you would know all about gating tarts being a Monarchs fan! How anyone can begrudge Greg his win is beyond me. If you are going to moan bout Greg being a gating tart then how many races did Tai win from the back then? Getting out of the second bend in front is 95% of a speedway race and both Greg and Tai do that more than anyone hence they are pulling clear in the championship. Oh and did you not see Greg go past Darcy a couple of gp's ago? He can pass when the track allows. As for Cook he will never get to this level

Well done Greg! All the Hancock moaners that he is boring really don't know there sport the man is a legend. Tai done us proud again. What was also good to see was Darcy using his head more as the track rutted up. If he keeps doing that he could become a challenger but he needs Tai and Greg to have bad ones. The racing was poor but atmosphere electric

and isnt the forum such a much better place without him being here, we can actually discuss mmetings and incidents properly
  16. wheres the anger? no frustration at all! i suggest you go back and read my posts on here where i say i wanted Edinburgh to win or you just going to pick on the bits that suit you. the simple fact is it was the wrong decision as many ex and current riders agree or are they all wrong as well?
  17. Read the comments from current and ex riders on twitter and they all agree it was the wrong decision. It was nothing to do with what event it was. It was all 4 back no arguments. If people cant see Fricke straightened up leaving Morris 2 options - get off or hit the air fence - then you need your eyes testing. Morris couldnt shut off at that point as Fricke had left him enough room but by the time he straightened the gap was shut. Its not sour grapes from me. I wanted Edinburgh to win (once Ipswich went out) as they were the most exciting team on the night. Doesnt detract from the fact it was the wrong call. As for not trying what do people expect them to do? Not going to bust a gut and go in the fence though Fricke did try on bends 3 and 4 on the opening lap! it does work both ways but by the time Fricke had straightened which launched him towards Morris the gap had shut leaving him no option at that point. As i said i wanted Edinburgh to win as they were the most entertaining plus i dont like seing the home team win on any event as i believe it should be a neutral track. I satnd by my opinion that Fricke left Morris plenty of room until he straightened up leaving Nick nowhere to go. Not Frickes fault and not Morris fault - all 4 back
  18. Can't believe that people on here call themselves speedway fans. The correct decision would have been all 4 back. Watch the race again. Fricke goes wide but leaves Morris plenty of room. Fricke then straightens up as he is about to exit the bend and in turn ends up leaving Morris no room. NOBODY'S FAULT. People saying Morris laid it down obviously don't have any idea. What was he supposed to do just ride into the air fence! I agree that it doesn't matter what meeting it is the correct decision needs to be made but that was quite clearly a racing incident that warranted all 4 back. I keep reading the idiots who say that it wasn't first bend. I suggest you read and learn the rules. I wasn't worried who won but the exclusion was wrong. Nice to see the jumped up Monarchs fans on here total clowns the majority of them bailed out! After Fricke straightened up was he supposed to just ride into the air fence? He was ready to ride round Fricke and in a split second was forced towards the fence. Of course he had to get off it.

shhh you cant run down Magic! in all seriousness Magis goes ok at Swindon so can see Poole going close as long as Darcy stays on the thing
  20. Is Blacksmith KKS?
  21. Got to fancy Lynn to win this quite comfortably. Lakeside are poor travellers at the best of times, but i reckon their home form will see them in the play offs
  22. jeez dont take shovlars mantle. i comment on meetings i watch wether live , on sky or on bet365. Go over other meetings invovling Poole and see if i have commented because i havent for some time unless they are live. Also i comment on lots of differnt threads but dont worry yourself with not looking. Go to the prem section im on there mainly but as a speedway fan i can comment on meetings i watch. Dont think i slagged off Poole. Said Ward is falling off to much which is a fact. Said i dont think Janowski is getting any better which is an opinion. When i stated KK to replace Janowski is what tongue in cheek and if you look at it i did write ' does it fit' afterwards as id not bothered to check.
  23. Is he? Really? Take your Poole hat off for a second. The only one in my list you could say maybe Dudek as i already said Zmarlik is a maybe. Kasprzak, Hampel, are proven on the world stage. Miedzinski is a GP winner who averaged more than Magic over here. Pawlicki senior is proving he is the better rider Pawlicki Junior has in my mind progressed past him. Dudek is a world under 21 winner though it could be stated he has stalled although was included in the pairs. Zmarlik ok you can have that one.
  24. nothing to do with a sense of humour just that its adding nothing to the debate to write sarcasm and try to be clever
  25. How do you mean didnt take long? I watched the match on bet 365 and wrote what i saw. I have not slagged off the Pirates merely said Ward is falling off to much and that Magic could cost Poole. I praised Milik and said i was surprised by the margin of defeat. That is how i saw it. I also said Pawlicki had a poor meeting but has been good all season. If your take on the meeting is different let me know. He is good at home sometimes but is very inconsistent (last week?) He just hasnt progressed as he should have. 2 years ago would be a cert for the world cup team but now i would have Gollob, Hampel, Kasprzak, Dudek, Kolodziej, Pawlicki(Poole), Pawlicki (Wolves), Miedzinski and possibly Zmarlik all ahead of him.
