Bit of a daft statement. Cook is the best rider in the league and wins probably 90% of his races. Needs to learn how to be a good loser. We wouldnt be having this discussion if it was say Max Fricke as he doesnt win almost every race. -

Garrity has some form for this. At Ipswich last year Dakota North deliberatly fenced Barker. Im not Barkers biggest fan but you dont do what North did. Anyway who was in the pits egging North on and getting involved - Garrity -

Ok lets look at the things you have wrote. Firstly Sedgeman dive bombed Gino and knocked him off. not a hard decision and no arguments from anyone in th Monarchs side of the pits. Sedgeman went over to Gino when he came back to the pits to make sure he was ok. Then im really bemused how you see the Masters incident. Tungate went under him and took him wide. That is called speedway racing though quite clearly in your world you musnt ride riders out wide and actually cleanly pass a Monarchs rider. Masters ended up in the loose stuff about 4 feet from the fence and slid off. If you think Tungate should be excluded for passin a rider making sure the rider goes wide without touching him then you clearly have no idea abou the sport. What you should be moaning about is Masters not getting up when Cook was leading which then turned a 3-3 onto a 1-5. Cook rolled in an earlier heat and then blatantly was moving in heat 13 so deserved his warning. Hawkins also deserved a warning. Ellis isnt making starts like he used to and on a tricky track last night you couldnt really pass easily. We should have lost but the Monarchs threw away points so am more than happy to get a draw And the funniest thing you wrote: The Sedgeman/Gino incident was the same as the Masters/Tungate one!!!!! lol Sedgeman whacks Gino who goes down. Tungate leaves about 3 feet between him and Masters!! How in your world are they the same! -

get a grip people! Cook is the best rider in the league but his attitude last night was one of a big head to good for this league and didnt like it when he was beaten. Im not saying you should enjoy losing just show a bit of sportsmanship to the guy who beat you. As for people that werent there you dont even have an argument to discuss on here. In heat on Richie was tailed off with what i found out later was carb problems. Cook was half way down the back straight on his slow down lap when Worrall went over the line. Was Richie supposed to roar round and catch him up! After heat 13 Cook crossed the line a fag paper behind the 2 Ipswich boys. He slowed up took off his goggle and turned round rode back to the pits and got the jeers from the home fans in the main stand. Worrall and Tungate congratulated each other then turned round to see no Cook. I was then by the pits when Cook went back in and his team mates went up to him and he didnt acknowledge them. Then get stroppy when asked to get on the truck for the parade. As he went to the showers you ahve to walk past people by the pits area. I saw 2 people with children ask him for an autograph he declined. Im sorry he is a great rider but as a person he need to grow up a little bit. -

didnt see the quotes but I'm assuming a ban is coming as I had a 2 week one for calling someone a numpty! The multi alias one needs to go! Anyway hope the 2 boys are ok and the Lynn juggernaut keeps on rolling -

he is the best rider in the league no question. Thing is its ok being annoyed when you get beat and then there is bad sportsmanship. To stop between bends 1 and 2 after a race and not acknowledge the other riders is petulant. If he can't take losing at this level then don't ride premier anymore. Maybe he just couldn't take being outrode by his Belle Vue team mate lol -

Not a bad meeting considering the conditions. Spoke with Richie afterwards who said he had the set up completely wrong in the first 2. Gino is just a star this season along with Morten. Cam really struggled tonight didn't seem to know what lines to ride. Rohan got better and almost snatched the win in the last. The reserves were poor tonight beating out of the gate far to easily. Final thing tonight was the first time I've seen Cook ride and I've never witnessed such a miserable arrogant rider. In heat 13 Tungate and Worrall rode brilliantly to keep him behind. As the race finishes he gets to the first bend turns round and rides back no shake of the hands. In heat 15 Worrall leads him tapes to flag again no handshake or acknowledgement. I go to the pits he comes in after the race his team mates pay him on the back he ignores them and starts taking off his kevlars. As it was a draw both teams go on the truck. He moaned like a petulant child before getting on the truck and sitting there sulking not talking to anyone, comes back gets off the truck and goes to showers. The guy is the best rider in the premier but his attitude stinks. If you think you shouldn't be beat in the premier Craig then go and just ride elite league. After all that well done monarchs solid side and good to see Steve Worrall riding so well again -
erm Pawlicki was assessed at 7 and Milik a 5. I know like everyone else which one was wrong. But in the rules

Think Lynn by 10. Both teams have won at Poole recently but Lynn are stronger than Poole so fancy them to win. Coventry look good for a play off place. Is this meeting on radio Norfolk? Quite enjoyed it last week -
I don't have a problem with Poole Quay. People are already telling the difference on here as the Poole fans are congratulating Lynn and not looking for excuses which is how it should be
-
no I'm not 'moving' on to anyone. Shovlar as discussed by the large percentage on here is a bit of a clown or wind up merchant that basically didn't help any of you genuine Poole fans out there. I don't like Matt Ford it's that simple. Think I'm obsessed with Poole means you don't obviously read any other part of this forum. I comment on majority of threads on here and have banter with most fans. Unfortunatly some Poole fans are not able to engage in debate or have a discussion. Maybe I shouldn't have bit to much at Shovlars stupidity but hey ho it'd nice on here now! lots of people commenting its good on here without him but you single me out! Anyways Magic is averaging less than a rider of his ability should be by now. Was World under 21 champ and World Cup winner and was talked about as a gp rider but is nowhere near a wild card now. Pooles top 3 should almost win them meetings on their own
-
It sure is a better forum for the blinkered ones absence. You can actually talk about the meeting and what went on without being told your anti Poole or jealous. It was obvious to all that the track was awful last night and it caused Poole to lose the meeting with Milik falling and Darcy bucking around. Just hope Starman isn't stepping into shovs shoes as he seemed to think track was ok. Anyway Poole need a change somewhere team is a bit stale. Josh finding the step up from reserve a bit tough. I would persevere with Milik. The only thing Poole can't change is the draft rider situation. Newman is ok but should be the top rider but isn't. Poole will make the play offs but its obvious this team isn't good enough. Iversen got 7 and Bjerre 4 yet they still win. Darcy and Shamek are carrying the team.
-
not at Poole last night. Newman and Kerr both premier league second strings and Newman was at home so he should out score Kerr but didn't.
-
no I wasn't there watched on the bet 365 stream and there was one line close to the fence and the majority if riders were lifting between bends 1 and 2 hitting the ruts. Cost you the win as Milik and Darcy both hit it late on when in front. I'm sure Shovlar wouldn't have left if Poole were winning not that anyone misses his daft posts
-
The track cost Poole tonight. Again fair play to the decent Poole fans who are here win lose or draw. The usual suspects shovlar, starman, poole quay. home straight have shock horror gone missing. Speaks volumes as to what people think of Poole fans on here in general
-
get in there you stars!! top 2 under perform and they win definatly the hot favourites. Poole need to sort that track out caught Darcy out and cost you the win
-
Kings Lynns top 2 have been poor yet are only 2 points behind. Wouldn't worry bout Bridger beating them as once you are behind the only line is on the fence, if you get through the ruts that is. Sorry but this announcer is pure comedy gold. Called Kyle Newman the hero of heat 12! He went from first to third lol
-
Not a good meeting at all. Track is so bad riders on bucking broncos coming out of the second bend felt sorry for Milik there. The good news is the announcer is totally clueless surely he isn't the regular one? Least it adds a bit of comedy. Lynn doing very well to keep it close with their top 2 underperforming another tapes to flag in heat 13 what a boring place to watch speedway yawnfest

Who Was The Last Rider To Win An Official Meaningful Race On An Upright Engine, And Where?
Gavan replied to Shale Searcher's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
i remember when we went with Mark Loram to Bradford in 1994 and back then you were only allowed to ride lay downs in F.I.M meetings. Mark said he had never ridden anything like it round Odsal -
Lol to mention Mjj in the same sentence as those riders what a prize pillock you are. come on mods take a look at this idiot who trolls regularly under different names
-
i 100% agree with what you say. But give me 15 points from my number one rather than 11 or 12. But then again give me great racing as well tricky one to answer I guess Poole fans can answer this question back in 1999/2000 Mark Loram at the time the worlds best racer or...........................Tony Rickardsson points machine. Who did Poole fans want in there side? Anyway sorry to deviate lets hope for a good safe meeting with good racing............and a Lynn win

The 1989 World final was very low on quality in my opinion. The 1992 wasnt much better.
