Why did they put Cook off 15 metres?
Surely Hans is doing enough off of the gate to have put himself amongst it ….- 2

also Emil chooses to race here and wants to race here and is enjoying his Uk spell so much.
laguta is only here because Sweden won’t allow him to race there.
As as regular attendee at Foxhall this season i can say Emil has been an absolute pleasure to have at my club
Performances on the track for obvious reasons
But off the track he interacts with all fans after a meeting often the last one to ho get changed … lets the kids sit on his bike and will have as many photos as people wish …. A thoroughly decent human being

2 hours ago, spin king said:Doyle 2nd and Lindgren 3rd in the standings so far, is incorrect.
At present
1st Zmarzlik on 90 points
2nd Holder on 69 points
3rd Lindgren on 68 points
4th Doyle on 68 points
5th Madsen on 60 points
6th Lambert on 54 points
7th Vaculik on 51 points
8th Bewley on 49 points
9th Woffinden on 41 points
10th Fricke on 34 points
11th Janowski on 31 points
12th Thomsen ON 29 points
13th Michelsen on 28 points
14th Dudek on 28 points
15th Nilsson on 22 points
I stand corrected..
and whilst looking at the standings now I’m earth do people think Tai isnt deserving of a place in the GP
I think peoples opinions are clouded by the fact that he isn’t as good as he was….but he is more deserving of a place then any of the riders below him
-
What a load of crap people write on here
Zmarzlik is the best around and maybe the competition isn’t the best but he is still a class act and would have won titles in any era
Got to laugh at people saying Doyle and Lindgren are past it lol … 2nd and 3rd in the world but last it lol…
And those saying Tai shouldn’t get a wildcard lol…. The guy is 9th in the world so please go ahead and find 7 riders who should be in above him …. Only Emil and Laguta but nobody else….do people expect all 15 riders to be capable of winning a world title lol…… back in the days of the one off there was always only ever 6 or 7 riders you thought could win it … the night of a GP is no different…… I wouldn’t expect the likes of Michelsen Thomson and Nilsson to win a GP but they could and in Thomsens case already have ….. in the one off none of the eastern block could win it and in my first one in 1990 you also had riders like Miller Dugard Correy who you wouldn’t have given a chance to.
So yes Tai isn’t a rostrum challenger but find 15 riders better than him you won’t …..

We looked good last night but up against a poor side let’s be fair
Iversen did ok and Worrall wasn’t too bad…. Cook wasn’t on it and Basso was awful and I didn’t expect much from Tarasenko but boy he will struggle at Monmore!
It’s sad to see Hans … never a favourite rider of mine but should bow out now his time is doneFor us Doyle and Emil were winning by a straight … Hume and Rew did just fine and good to see Riss more compete and then putting in the laps after the meeting
Great to see young Dan scoring points made a couple of good gates and comfortable on the track
Moment of the night was Danny King after winning heat 15 coming round the stock car track and blowing a kiss to the lady near to us who constantly shouts abuse at him each week…. He looked fast last night and was passing so good to see him hopefully have an upturn in form
-
Thought Lynn looked good to be fair … as Klindt said they only had 4 riders really as Riss was like a novice in dreading him riding for us…
Don’t know why but Leicesters manager seems a rather strange guy lol

Leicester had it easy tonight and only won by 4….. not sure what your manager meant by decisions going against them … heat 1 maybe but that’s it as Harris quite rightly excluded

Some good racing tonight. Jorgensen has been the star and if Klindt gets a flyer there’s a chance. But Laguta just let his team down imo.
What lol… he got clumped in the leg/foot… how do you know he hasn’t broke a bone ….. but harsh to say he has let them down
-
There is no way Riss should be riding Thursday
-
Just now, Baldyman said:And people are looking forward to having Riss back as it strengthens us,,,,,,,, is anyone watching the Lynn meeting
Exactly the point I made
Us fans are only going to simply see Doyle and Emil but the promotion seem clueless when it comes to the rest of the side
-
Just now, pubichair said:My Thomson is impressing me tbh never gives up and definately one I’d sign for next year
Yep gives it a go … other riders should take note
-
It’s simple … we should have got Kemp … he’s already got 4 from 2 at Lynn
Riss looks awful and can’t see how him coming back is going to make any difference
Our season is over unless we make changes
-
Battle at the back with Jorgensen and Harris and the camera focuses on Klindt or the awful helmet cam …. Show us where the action is!!!!
-
King is costing us so much yet nothing will ever get done about it
Barker has been awful
The engine room of the side (2,3 and 4) have to get 16 between the 3 of them minimum and they simply aren’t good enough
We are booked for 5th
-
And King yet again letting us down needs to be doing better than third places
-
Joe Thompson has only finished 3rd 4 times at home this season when the opposition rider has actually completed the race
One of those was Gilks
Worryingly the other 3 times he has finished in front of an opponent who finished 4 laps were all against his brother who we have now signed!!
So basically the only rider who Joe had beat consistently at Foxhall was Dan……

-
If he gets 3/4 a meeting it’s more than Joe would have so at least we have done something
-
Sorry yes my error only 1 tac sub
Still think it should have been in heat 12 though
-
Sheffield would now be 6 behind if Musielek had of won heat 12 and the chance of Holder as tac sub in 14
Poor team management from Stead
-
Why have Sheffield not put Musialek in as a tac sub in heat 12???

19 minutes ago, TTT said:Not a good attendance and it's going to hurt the pockets of the promotion considering who they're paying out for.
Not at all we regularly get over 2000 so the tv has an impact
-
Got to laugh at people talking about the crowd
Ipswich regularly get over 2000 often depending on opposition …. Obviously getting more form Lynn and Peterborough as they closer
Its on tv I live an hour from the track and for me much easier to watch on tv and I know of at least 3 other families doing the same that will have an impact plus how many Sheffield fans are going to make the journey when they can also watch it on tv

King on his lawn mower and riding all the wrong lines again

Neither did Doyle or Vaculik and they are currently in the top 6…… Tai is in the worlds top 10 simply should be in the GP series

Peterborough v Belle Vue Monday June 26th live on Eurosport
in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Posted
Even the guy doing speedway updates thinks Lidsey won heat 12 and not Rew laughable
Peterborough and Kings Lynn are an embarrassment to the league …. A number one with 3 third places…. A number 4 who can’t score and even Cook is being dragged down now
Basso tries… At home
Hans tries… at home
And can’t fault Jenkins effort even if he did cost his team by shutting off early
