I'd much rather have Gappmaier than Proctor and according to this forum, so would most Berwick posters....

Woeful may be harsh, but I use the term woeful, not to describe the rider, but to describe the signing based on what Berwick had to play with

Well your  team have a lot more to pay with than Berwick had,so we’ll see what 7 point riders they come up with !

    That’s Luke confirmed now…

I would imagine Mason being no.6 but like you say it leaves us under the limit… could Ben possibly head to Armadale for small track experience and we fit Danny Phillips in to get us close to team building limit?

I personally ain’t fussed… I just enjoyed the bullets for what it was meant to be last season… the chance for the future to progress locally as well as some spectacular sights displayed by Greg Blair! :approve:

I don’t think the club will be bothered that much about the points limit,  BEN and MASON will be nailed on imo.

To those who have watched him at Berwick, is he ready yet?

What a strange question   Ace will most certainly be ready to make the next step, develop and learn in after all what is a Development League. He will be under no pressure at Berwick and will get all the help and encouragement he needs from everyone.

What happened to the last rider that Rob talked about who would bring the team strength close to the points limit and be challenging for honours, or did I dream that.

Could have said it before he had his arm twisted to take George and is now paying the price of only getting upto a 6.50 rider, and less clout in heats 13 and 15 again.

It appears to be One of Rob’s major downfalls, his press releases are comical at best.  A good PR person would be a good signing.

I’ve got a feeling we could be lining up something like this if averages allow …..

    1. Kyle Bickley

    2. Ben Rathbone

    3. Luke Crang

    4. Mason Watson

    5. Greg Blair

    6. Kieran Douglas

    7. ???

I’d love to see that team, as long as the number 7 is not last years number 7

Great news to see our two main sponsors back for another year, As Jamie and Scott repeatedly say, Without the many sponsors we have,we would not survive,

And a few hours later the great news comes that Grant Henderson Tankers are to be Title sponsors of the Bullets

Just out of interest has Lawrence Rogers ever won any thing in Speedway? He as been in the spot for a very long time been in charge of lots of Teams, but can’t remember anything, Which if that’s the case is CV doesn’t look very impressive, but maybe I’m wrong

I’m not sure about him winning anything but, what I do know is just about every track he’s ever been involved in, no longer exists !!

Well Well Well… oh ye of little faith eh... I didn't think it could be done but here you go...

News hot off the press so to speak...

The travellers have been evicted (again)... the gates have been repaired and locked (again)... there are now CCTV cameras in operation (good)... and three of our little friends have been arrested and locked up and another two are on the run (Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas)... so there you go three nil to the police and two off the crossbar... nice when a plan comes together and the boys in blue get a result...

Carlsberg don't do News Flashes but if they did... (and its official I will be smiling all day)

    Regards
    THJ

Absolutely brilliant news. Good luck to everyone concerned in this venture

I think/thought/suspect that 2022 might be a bit quick for Workington to get everything signed off baring in mind the track isn't built so no inspections can take place, funds may currently be better focussed on construction etc. Iwade whilst with every intention could still need many requirements met including an experienced promotor to come on board.

Big IF but if neither of those sides are able to come to the tapes would a 5 team league be in any way viable for Mildenhall (or indeed is a 6 team league any good for them really?)

Would the others want to be subsidising the NDL sides for such a small league? I know its said most years but this years AG could be one of the most important yet as the whole league at present looks like a house of cards and any number of factors could see it crashing down.

    Loving your positivity NOT

He may wish to move up to a top tier Polish team though. I read somewhere recently that Zmarslik is set to earn over £1 million next season with over 350k euros of that just from riding for Gorzow.

Sam is good, but quite a bit short of Polish Extraliga standard
