Think you need your abacus out again, TJ wouldn’t fit unfortunately, by my reckoning, we have just under 7 left

I didn’t think there was any age limit on the R/S ?

Did you see him away last year ?

I’d have TJ back at Berwick in a heart beat

I don’t think Cook would fit in with the Ethos of no Ego’s at Berwick

Starting to look a really solid team. Shielfield will be a much harder place for visiting teams than last year I think

But in house is far from easy!
So, does anyone have any idea of the set up costs ? I can’t imagine that being cheap

I would of preferred a full NL challenge, at NL prices! Or a full championship challenge, at Championship prices, or an individual meeting with all the riders and a couple other interesting names, just my personal opinion of course, but I don’t think Berwick Bandits are worth £17/18 this season on a track which often offers very little racing, (Plymouth meeting was better tbf) nevermind a watered down challenge meeting, still looking forward to Glasgow, Kent double header and hopefully the Eastbourne double header too!
It’s a different heat format from what I’ve read, so maybe not top guys v bottom guys, if paying full wack for this meeting helps balance the books when teams are going ** up then i for one will gladly pay my money, Hats off to the promotion for thinking out the box and putting this on, Could this be a trial for next years heat format ???

Havvy also planning to be at some of the Pirates home meetings.
They should have asked anyone from Coventry or Berwick about Havvy’s Team Management credentials, Openly admitted at a Berwick supporters forum that he had never read a rule book and wouldn’t. The riders did not like him at all.

Brilliant coverage, but OMG ! The commentary was absolutely horrendous Well done Redcar for putting this on, can’t be easy with so many heats

18k per engine ?????

Presumably signing on fees at NL aren't prohibitive so signing up 14 riders would have been too costly? Would have made it a 10 team league so 18 home fixtures on the Island.
Signing on fees in the NDL it’s meant to be an amateur League

If you would have 3 changes, where’s the 3 new one’s going to come from ?

So did he ride enough meetings for a new average (I can’t remember how many meetings you needed for a new average that year but there was a time when it was only 4 meetings) or does he return on an assessed average?
Having been out for about 10 years, I’d imagine he’ll be reassessed
