  1. Yes, but Mat fraud stated that he would get up  around an 8 at that time, and was allowed to quit with some lame

excuse to leave after a month , it was all planned, as like for like average, BSPA turned a blind eye as usual, a

few years ago after Adam Royan had a really bad crash, he made a comeback to sign for Panthers, and they ruled it out

for being 000.1 over no blind eye there,  think it had been over a year since he had been out,  he was devastated, if it had been Poole?

You are obviously one of those people who doesn't read the thread properly, I've already said I didn't agree when my own team benefitted fromm special dispensation in 2018, fair play and integrity us more important to me. I also said P'boro can still win whoever guests, they only scored 6 from Ulrich and Hans' rides last night so no reason why they couldn't cover again at home on Thursday if their scores were that low once more.

Yes I  also remember When POOLE signed Mescoviak  ( not sure of spelling ) on a 4+  ave for a month got to an 8

and signed Greg Hancock for another win, unless I got that wrong as well

Let's not ruin it with special dispensation please.

You mean,  lets face them while they have only half a team, MPT riding with broken fingers, and Hans and Ulrich out,  YOU ARE ALL HEART, speedway fans want to see a close match whoever wins,  there is enough silly rules in it already, I would hope any team facing what Panthers are now would get some sort of common sense shown by the BSPA , this not a mickey mouse match, we start with 7 riders and lucky if you finish with the same seven,  unlike football who start with 25, it would make a mockery of our great sport if this Highlight of the season FINAL, ends in a walk over because of injuries and BSPA rules, which as per your post, you do.

“Nicholls’ return leaves Panthers with one spot to fill in their side, with suggestions now being that they could go back down the “experience” route for that place”.

The way Aron Summers rode last year, to me, would be the perfect choice , I would hope the management feel the same ,he was out standing, if he is available I would grab him with both arms, would be a great reserve pairing home and away

Not what I want. But this is the 1-7 I think we will line up with.

    Thoughts?

    1. Kenneth Bjerre 7.75
    2. Rohan Tungate 6.59
    3. Chris Harris 6.16
    4. Thomas Jorgensen 5.90
    5. Hans Andersen 5.79
    6. Bradley Wilson-Dean 5.47
    7. Ulrich Ostergaard 4.00

    Team Total 41.66
    Remaining 0.84

MPT for Jorgensen and that would do for me

The last promotion didn’t (on his words) lose anything over the four years he was in charge and to be fair up to recently our crowds were holding up well.

Peterborough fans want and expect a competitive team, unfortunately due to injuries and other things the current team isn’t and it’s affecting our attendance as it normally does.

And the first thing we need to do is, bring Wells in for Bates, scored well again yesterday, Bates is all over the place , held  Tungate up last night ,2nd  bring in Guest for Hans, apart from Tungate and Wright rest are struggling

Believe it. I wrote his contract. It is extremely rare for a rider to have a minimum guarantee.

Hi Mick  only stated this , never seen Hans have 3 rides like he had , trying like mad ,but no speed , and heat 13 was so important with 14 and 15 they had Schlein,  Scotty, Masters and Howarth ,  in the mix , and our reserves had to take on their top scorers in 14  etc but thanks to Tungate `s brillianf ride we won,  Hans  has always been one of  My wife and I  favourite riders  and feel sure as you say will sort it out soon.

ps ,Nice to hear you are still about.

Same problem as the last few years. Struggles too often from the gate, over 30 yards and gets beat up on the first turn. Time waits for nobody and this isn't the barnstorming Andersen that Panthers once knew. He may have been testing equipment or something and there could be improvement in there somewhere from tonight but the decline is only going one way IMO.

Big mistake not replacing  Hans in ht 13 with Barker or Summers

Well maybe not just yet and I am sure Lasse will be ok when he sorts his mechanical gremlins out but Barker has to improve  to retain his team place I would think.

Last night the race format made the Cook situation worse for us,  Fricke and  Kenny B were in 7 of the first 13 races  then both in Ht 15   and not beaten , maybe if we had got a replacement in time could have made a big difference,  Barker out of sorts ,  plus Lasse in scoring position twice retiring, Belle Vue have a good side , should have beaten us by a lot more

Which Wednesday is that then does anybody care anymore for me i'm totally sick of the whole embarrassing Chapman era just hope he can soon find a buyer and get out of Peterborough altogether.

Yes a lot that cares and looking forward to the season ,if you don`t care , don`t keep putting negative comments here , all clubs have problems some worse than ours , we are in top league with a good side, new grippy track lets enjoy it

They will still expect fans to turn up and pay there entrance fees just like nothing has changed , yet nobody has got the balls to let us know just what's happening , and that's sums up the state the sport is in, we are treated like dumb idiots who should turn up and just hand over our money.

Do not understand all the negative comments , Panthers are running in 2019, we are back in the top league , we still have Ged and Neil    it seems, who saved us with aid of fans when it seemed we would no longer have speedway in Peterborough at all, we have a very good team indeed , back on TV, no better way to advertise the Panthers, as may temp new people to try speedway or bring back fans who have drifted away over the last few years , cannot wait for the season to start ,especially with the local derby`s with Ippo and Kings Lynn..

No thanks , i'd much rather see him riding for opposition and I wouldn't be at all happy for him to be a replacement for Harris. I don't think I would be alone on that either.

Did not say he was ideal to ride for us, was just stating my opinion of an Exiting rider, Buckowski one of my favs was an exiting ride, just saying Tungate or Scotty to me are  not,

No. Just saying it's a poor signing.

Chris achieved a real average of just over 7.00. BSPA have wacked onquite a bit due to Rye House folding so Chris' average is based on Poole results only in 2018 which is why his average is false.

Is that all riders who rode for RYE ?, and all who rode at Rye ,have any been any of those been adjusted or is it just Chris Harris , does not seem right to me, if that is correct,
