German GP Teterow Saturday September 22nd
Navigator1900 replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
IMO Woffinden is an excellent but also fair rider like Sayfutdinov for example. Others like Lindgren or Pedersen ride more agressively and sometimes too agressively with risk of crash and injury. Last year Belle Vue: Lindgren Bjerre incident already forgotten ... Don‘t get me wrong, I think agressive riding like Zmarzlik does is ok and very exciting to watch, or take Lindbäck on his day, great rider too, but no bad boys IMO. And sorry Mark, Lindgrens action in Prag was too hard ....not only my opinion. -
German GP Teterow Saturday September 22nd
Navigator1900 replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Why oh why Woffinden-haters quite often around in this forum. Mind you, I‘m not impressed about his tattoos, but he‘s a great rider and character for our sport: Englands no 1. Compared to the riding style ie of Mr Lindgren he does respect his rivals and let‘s them some room. Remember Lindgren v Woffinden in Prag semifinal .... The best rider should win, I keep my fingers crossed for TW, but it will be a tough battle. -
Scandinavian GP Malilla Saturday August 11th

So respect your opinion, in the swedish final Berntzon and Ljung were about level ... anyway your opinion about the lack of up and coming swedish riders compared to the UK. I‘m positively surprised that they have not only Lambert, but also Dan Bewley making a good impression. Which swedish world class rider after Lindgren and Lindbäck will show up? Best regards from neutral Switzerland. -

Furthermore in Sweden and Denmark seems to be a shortage of promising young talent. Look at the top 3 from the Landshut challenge. ...... -

IMO Ljung showed some good meetings this summer. Let him race tomorrow and give your verdict after the GP. -
2019 Sgp Qualifiers - GP challenge final landshut Saturday July 28th
Navigator1900 replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
IMO it was a suspense meeting. Kolodzej next year don‘t underestimate him. His riding last night compared to Zagar, Kasprzak lr Milik was outstanding. JK a worthy winner of the Challenge. It was a gaters paradise, but still a better meeting than SGP Horsens ... Iversen still going strong, when you saw how Lindbäck rode in his first two heats, and latter how he could beat Cook in the runoff, I loved that. Fricke was unlucky but a promise for the future. And I still think, German GP should be better in Landshut than Teterow. -

SEC Finals - 4th round Saturday September 15th Chorzow live on Eurosport
Navigator1900 replied to Col's topic in International World of Speedway
Seriously, what I saw on the TV screen last night, despite a very interesting track there, simply another boring meeting, not much excitement although Lambert was the deserved winner. SEC yesterday, also the quality of the live pix, sub standard. On the other hand the scene with the tape troubles was rather hilarious ... -
World Championship Pairs
Navigator1900 replied to Mark's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Be happy with silver, Tai was the best rider tonight, Lambert a promise for Englands future. Laguta and Sayfutdinov with all his hard work from the outside gates have been the best team, IMO absolutely deserved win! PS: I really find the new pairs format a winner, maybe a few adjustments ... PS: my new hero is Mr. „Kamikaze Lindgren“, do you remember his antics v. Woffinden in Prague? -

SGP Prague Lindgren v. Woffinden
Navigator1900 posted a topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Ref Gardell said to TW „you were at the wrong time at the wrong place“. Well IMO Fredrik LIndgren wants to win at any price, really. When you look back at some of his actions ie 2017 at Belle Vue, his crash with Kennneth Bjerre, Melbourne 2016, etc. I have difficulty to understand why his doing such things often In the 1st or 2nd bend.... High risk rider. Anyway I‘m glad for Woffy that is able to think what could happen when somebody else wants to win at any price ...- 1 reply

Czech GP prague Saturday 26th May 2018
Navigator1900 replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Interesting comparison to Sayfutdinov‘s very bad accident in2013, when Miedzinski shut the door. Time will tell if Lindgren can go on like this the whole season. IMO Woffinden was and is the wiser guy. -

Navigator1900 replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
IMO like hard riding but it still has to be fair, IMO Lindgren wants to win at all costs. Woffinden does use his brain and can shut off when necessary! I think FL shut the door quite brutal toTW. Mind you, if Dudek had shut the door like this in the last corner? we don‘t want to see even more bad injuries ... look at FL‘s records, i.e.Melbourne 2016, BL final Belle Vue, his actions v. Kenneth Bjerre. Etc on the other hand, can‘t remember similar actions from TW. In soccer they are using yellow and red cards ☝️ PS: is anywhere an interview with Taif to find on the subject Prague final heat? -

Vaculik absolutely yes, I fully agree, Milik I agree, but don't forget from Denmark Nicki & Iversen have definitely more to offer than Madsen .... -
Sgp Germany, Landshut Could Be Be Better Than Teterow?
Navigator1900 posted a topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Nothing personal against Teterow, but I really think Landshut down in Bavaria could be more attractive than Teterow. Distance Airport Munich to Landshut only about 38 km, even less to the stadium. Lovely old town in Landhut, Munich not far away, stadium hat already SEC-Events .... Your opinions .... ? -

No Interest On Issues About Tuners, Engines, Technical Subjects?
Navigator1900 posted a topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Philip Rising confirmed that most Speedway Star reader have no interest in these issues. I would like to hear more feedback from the readership. When I hear riders comments like "big thank you to my tuner Mr. K oder Mr. PJ oder Mr. FG from Denmark .... Fact is, that most SGP riders spent a lot of money for different engine from different tuners! Furthermore I still have not understood how radical Freddie Lindgren changed from GTR back to GM. FL states he has not finished yet with Marcel Gerhard and GTR, but in the Gorzow pits he had 3 Graversen-GM's ... When you read that also Tai Woffinden had to change for engines from the danish tuner, I personally would like to know more details -
Smolinski And Pussies
Navigator1900 replied to PHILIPRISING's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
During his full SGP season I did not like Smolinski's boxing-gesture at all. Nowadays he gave it up. Back in June at the Challenge-semifinal in Olching I had the chance to talk to him in the pits and was very positively surprised what a friendly a nice person he can be .... I had to change my image about him form rather negative into positive. Let's not forget, the SGP circus can use one or two characters like Nicki P. -

Very interesting news from Kowalski Racing. To me SGP-scene becomes more and more a high-tech-war of engine tuners ! -
Lindgren Switch From Gtr Back To Gm !
Navigator1900 posted a topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
When I noticed the latest picture on Fredrik Lindgren's Facebookpage I thought at first I would be a late april-joke. It seem despite all his success on the Swiss Gerhard-GTR-engine some dark forces from behind persuaded him to change back to the Italian-GM-machinery. Loyality does not seem a priority for him. We'll see how many points he will mark in the 2nd half of the GP-season. -
Lindgren Switch From Gtr Back To Gm !
Navigator1900 replied to Navigator1900's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Thank you Philip for your spy-feedback. One thing is crytalclear, Marcel Gerhard & Suter Engineering have invested much more time & money into the GTR-project than Fredrik Lindgren. Maybe as swiss supporter I am a little biased but these are facts. -
Lindgren Switch From Gtr Back To Gm !
Navigator1900 replied to Navigator1900's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I agree "why suffering" but from the outside I can't understand it. Especially on the big tracks in Poland he seemed to be as fast as earlier this season. His results in England over the last few weeks were less impressive though. Fact is, since he changed 2016 from GM to GTR he looked a different rider than before. For that reason I feel sorry for the swiss GTR-team, especially Marcel Gerhard who has put so much effort into his project and will feel betrayed .... Why not try everything to find if there are problems with GTR instead of a short-term switch to GM. Some other GP-riders have shown more loyalty to their engine-tuners than Freddie.
