  2. Walasek missing is a big blow. Averaging 9.60 in his home matches. Should make Swindon favorites to win now, especially with Wilkinson replacing Auty.

Hall (G) Thought Lions could only use a PL 6 pointer for Bridger, as the 14 day facility had finished, but seems Zengota guests so maybe they've had it extended.

    Leicester Lions 2015

Yes, your right, when DH was on radio Leicester, he said Lions had a 14 day facility for Bridger, so that as now gone.
  7. Looking at the forecast it seems like a bright sunny start to the day, but cloud increasing throughout the day with rain arriving about 11.00pm, so should be no sun delay this evening, hopefully.

    Leicester Lions 2015

I can only imagine SKY thought Coventry v Poole had a more attractive look about it than a match against Lions which might be a bit one sided.

    Leicester Lions 2015

Lions have officially announced the signing of Lewis Bridger, in place of Mikkel Michelsen who resigned today. They have 28 day facility in place for Bjarne Pedersen. Schlein guests for Pedersen at Swindon,Newman for Auty & Walasek returns from injury.

    Leicester Lions 2015

Ellis will be at Wolves with Lakeside that day. Roynon at Rye House with Redcar, although that might be an afternoon meeting. Birks is a possibility has Sheffield have no meeting but his form as been poor.

    Leicester Lions 2015

Looking at the fixtures on the 25th May, probabaly the best guest Lions could possibly use is Charles Wright, if he can be persuaded to ride after being at Scunthorpe with Somerset in the afternoon. If not it looks like it will after be someone from the tier 2 list.

    Leicester Lions 2015

Things don't get any better.Auty suspected broken hand riding for Scunthorpe.

    Leicester Lions 2015

If Norrie Allen's comments on saturday night are anything to go by, it looks like Michelsen's days are numbered. He said if it was up to him he would never sign another Dane after Leicester's problem's over the last 2 seasons with Pedersen, Houggard & Mads & he seem to question Michelsen's attitude after scoring 0 for Lions & then 12 for his Danish team.

    Leicester V Coventry 9th May 2015

Nothing on the website yet, apart from someone suggesting Summers on the Lions facebook page. I think the 2 they would have liked ( Schlein & Rob Lambert) are now riding in the best pairs.

    Leicester V Coventry 9th May 2015

Losing Walesek who had been riding very well at home were he had averaged 8.80,was a big blow . A guest for Mickelson based on his last weeks showing has to make us stronger.Losing Auty certainly makes us weaker ( Steve Worrall guests). Other guests are to be confirmed. I didn't realize that Pedersen had pulled out of the match at Kings Lynn with illness ( for the 2nd away match in succession) until I saw it on Lions facebook page & if the meeting had gone ahead Lions were going to use R/R, now if he's still ill that would make us stronger!. But he has been named in the Lions team on the website today.
  20. Auty riding for Scunthorpe so will also need a guest at reserve.

Kings Lynn V Leicester 06 May

Max Fricke again guests for Walesek. Kyle Howarth in for Mickelson who's riding for his Danish team.
  22. Lions issued a press release on 4th March saying the 3 bank holiday fixtures ( 4th May, 25th May,& 31st Aug ) would now all start at the later time of 7.30, to enable Josh Auty to ride, following Scunthorpes fixtures on the same day. I don't know what time they were originally due to start.
  23. Would think Nick Morris will be odds on to guest again as it will be more than 8 days since he last guested.

    Leicester V Lakeside 26.04.15

Hans Anderson guests for Lakeside,in place of AJ, which probably makes them stronger as I don't think AJ would have ridden at Leicester before. Carl Wilkinson guests at reserve.

Leicester V Belle Vue Saturday 11.04.15

Have to agree, I thought it was an excellent meeting on a well prepared track. Belle Vue certainly didn't go down without a fight & maybe the final score slightly flattered Lions. Nicholls was impressive & looked very quick. For Lions thought Walesek looked excellent for his paid 14.
