    Scandinavian Gp 2011

Not sure about nothing to do with him, he came into that corner with far too much speed to be in control, I suspect had Sayfutdinov not move out then Holder would have wiped him out I felt Holder while not hitting Sayfutdinov would have caused the late turn that he made. Why do you actually ave to make contact with someone to be the cause of a fall ???

    Kennett Suspended!

More chance of Eddie Kennett learning from this than there is of you learning to not go over the top Steve You may well have meant it toungue in cheek, I guess we have to take your word for that but lets just pretend Sandhu decided to take action, any lawyer would take the words you posted and franklt take you to the cleaners We all just need to be a little careful when posting about people with the ability to destroy an individual without batting an eyelid I agree that there is a lot of this sort of stuff posted but one day I fear it might happen

    Kennett Suspended!

Sometimes I think this forum needs a gentle threat to a poster before it goes over the top. The bit that is unfair with posts like Shovlar's is that the forum owner is suddenly in the spotlight for something that he has no input to Utter tripe like this endangers the free speech that most people on here enjoy, its only a few idiots that don't know when to stop. Only thing I would credit to Shovlar for is that he posts under his own, most of those who spout similar garbage don't. I think a retraction is due to be honest for the good name of this forum let alone the fact that the club he supports does not need this sort of garbage coming from someone who represents them on this forum

Lucky he was able to get to a computer so quickly Somebody clearly took the locks of the padded cell door a bit earlier tonight

    Kennett Suspended!

Masses of credit to the Coventry promotion They really do need to follow up by getting rid permanently and I would hope other promoters leave well alone as well. There is no place anywhere in British Speedway for this type of cheating

    Italian Gp Terenzano

I am no great fan of Jonsson but to call him blnad is of course ridiculous. He missed the start in both semi final and final amd came through from the two unfavoured gates in both Shovvy has that if they don't/never have ridden for Poole syndrone then they are boring/dull/dirty (delete as appropriate)

Disappointing ??? I backed him at 22/1 so I was certainly not disappointed

Recommend Hotel Euro in Pardubice, staying there again this year and its very good Trains are about every from Prague Hln and cost about £4 each way. Pardubice remains cheap for everything

    Neil Middleditch

And that is because there us not a Team Manager or promoter that will put the needs of GB speedway above their own track Middleditch had no chance but at the club he manages British riders get no opportunities Rob Lyon was the previous Team Manager but at his club Lasse Bjerre and Tomas Topinka are the ones given the chance to double up Rossiter wanted the job but he is now in the pits helping a Russian when it comes to GP's I am NOT blaming these guys but it just shows that even those people who are, have been or wanted to be GB Team Manager are part of the problem within the clubs The BSPA take a lot of stick, generally fairly but we should still not forget that we have riders who will not ride for their country, riders who were debating whether to ride because they could not sell their own spensorship for race suits etc etc. Yes they rode in the end but riding for your country should be a proud moment and for Ben Barker you could see it was and even Lewis Bridger despite not performing showed what it meant to him. The whole thing is a mess and Poland, Sweden and Denmark are where they are because they have a structure throughout the sport which is geared towards producing what is best for their country and not others Australia are of course the luckiest, they have a superb development system which gives them every opportunity to progress their speedway and is helping them to become the force they are in world speedway...............................its called British Speedway. They have absolutely nothing in their own country to bring roders to the level they are at If only British Speedway could support British riders as well as it does all these other countries. Its funny but British riders get no development help whatsoever from any of the countries. Again no criticism of the Aussies et al, who can blame them for taking advantage of such a ridiculous situation And my next hobby horse could be testimonials which seem to be handed out to overseas riders as well..........................the last GB rider to get a testimonial in any of these countries was ?????????????????? The whole structure is ridiculous in my opinion

    Swc Changes Needed ?

sadly orion the whole SGP/SWC stopped becoming about speedway first an awful long time ago. Some of the GP's and the other SWC events happen to produce good speedway but I suspect that would have little to do with whether BSI considered them a good event or not If ever proof were needed what mattered you only have to look at the Gothenburg evwnt to know that speedway and its fans were lower than a snakes belly in the priority list there. Money came so far at the top its not true

    Swc Changes Needed ?

I agree, get ris of the joker To see the ridiculous site in Heat 23 of Davey Watt deliberately coming last was crazy. In fact it should have been worse because Kasprazak really should have slowed and let the Swede through leaving Poland 5 up with two to go instead of 6 up and allowing an Aussie joker Now that would have been a farce. Terrific racing all night and then the danger of riders chucking away points. That is enough to get rid of it As for the rest of the format..............no problem with it. If Poland produces racing and anm atmosphere like that then let them have the meeting, was there any comparison with the dross served up on Monday night in comparison
  12. But responsibel for only arguably one of them (and that is where opinion was split last night). They were certainly on the end of a fair bit of bad luck last night
  13. Well he kept falling off all on his own with no-one anywhere near him Sadly he really is not the force he once was, which to some extent sums up GB as a speedway force
  14. I agree with that. This is the guy that wasn't there tonight because he can't be bothered/can't make enough money (delete as appropriate) to ride for the country of his birth Shouldn't represent GB again IMO
  15. Was he not ahead though. Harris took a chance and got off and in fairness he got the call. As I said it could have gone either way, to suggest it is dangerous riding is bonkers Maybe a track that the onlt fast line wasn't a foot from the fence would help, two riders into a foot will never go
  16. Was that just two guys passing and re-passing. Not sure I understand why when Lukas overtakes its trying to kill Harris nad Harris passes its OK Good hard racing, is that not what speedway is about ?
  17. Could have gone either way but no need at all for the GB boys to get involved, on the basis that Woffinden thinks that clattering into someone is OK he surely couldn't have seen anything wrong. First decent bit of racing for ages though with two guys going at it
  18. Different expectations I suspect, I guess they didn't expect to be competitive. This is a GB team that really should be a lot closer and just look a bit all over the place in so many ways
  19. Its Ales' first meeting back after puncturing a lung and having surgery on his shoulder in May, he was supposed to out for 2 months so this is an early comeback...................and he lands on his shoulder !!
  20. First for everything...............I'm humbled
  21. Couldn't disagree, he let himself down a bit didn't he
  22. OK so I will be accused of Czech bias but that was a dangerous move by Woffinden, the kind of move that Lukas for would crucified for. For Louis to say he went down easily is crazy, it was a silly move from Woffinden (not that he thought though clearly) which he didn't need to do as he had the pace The GB boys seem to have no composure, time for the Team Manager to earn his corn because he needs to have a word and focus them on the job in hand.
  23. All about opinion but my comment is a fact ! Hope they do well but lets sweep it all under the carpet eh ?
  24. And now we have to listen to Keith Huewen going on about national pride when talking abouit the Brits who struggled to make up their mind whether to bother riding for their country or not
  25. At least the riders all want to ride and appear to be proud to ride for their country. Team GB had riders who struggled to decide whether to ride because they couldn't have their own sponsors on racesuits, Russian's want to be paid and the Poles aren't always Poles at all Oh the pride for riding for your country
