Gutted..I really thought we could push on for a play off place today with an away win..can’t see us getting any points anywhere else away from home.

I felt he was a little unlucky on fri either getting shunted out wide or left with no where to go and losing momentum

Well done Adam Ellis what a shambles against the bottom side.

Track prep?? The track that has won many award so that’s down to the individual who gets worried about different racing lines and panics and then gets crap scores…hmmm

I know sam hates the place but bit of a off day for the skipper probably be his lowest score all season. Williams form at the moment is a slight concern. Of course with this happening young palin has the best performance of his young career to do date, unfortunately just had to be against ourselves. Tough team the scorpions at home, think most sides will struggle there this season. Why would sam hate the place..I know he turned us down a few seasons ago because there was no home track advantage..very very fair track so why can’t he perform on it ???

Or any speedway fan who hasn’t been before.

Why put them on then I’m pretty sure first timers would not be enticed to go if that is supposed to be a good race as it states.
-
Twice on the GB website Plymouth have put a race on..what I don’t get is are they trying to promote good racing because I have yet to see one single pass or something to get excited about..is it about the sizeable crowd or the non entertaining races.

Chippys still good what a night out

Personally I didn’t doubt him he performed really well the last time he rode for us..and he looks even better with his new Kevlars he really stands out
-
22 points between 6 riders hmmm

Last week against Plymouth I was stood in the main stand at the start line and the atmosphere was brilliant.. I went to get a beer or 2 and stayed where the tables were situated at turn 1 and it was awful nobody cheering whatsoever it put me on a bit of a downer to be fair..the view wasn’t great either the tarmac needs raising around that area to get a decent view.

Not really I’ve said it on numerous occasions over a number of seasons

He was class his first heat if I remember correctly he was leading then got shunted to third and then his craft and skill got himself back into the lead for a deserved win

It used to be the best track when it had plenty of dirt on it..certain riders a few years ago requested it to be slick and smooth and it hasn’t changed since

Does that apply to the lady 3 seasons

Yes I agree first few heats was similar nature but after that it seemed like hard graft to overtake anyone very disappointing..but still it was an ok meeting with some close racing but to many strung out heats which is not normal viewing at the EWR

I’ve said for a few seasons now that the track is nothing like it used to be...yes it’s very smooth and easy to ride but as for going into the dirt line for overtaking and getting past opponents it never hardly happens as shown today because the amount of effort that the riders put in to overtake there’s no grip whatsoever and it’s so frustrating for us spectators never mind the riders.
