Feel free to ask him yourself. Quite a few riders aren’t a fan of the EWR. More down to track prep than anything.

Track prep?? The track that has won many award so that’s down to the individual who gets worried about different racing lines and panics and then gets crap scores…hmmm

Wasn’t expecting a win but thought we might have got a point or been there or there about.
I know sam hates the place but bit of a off day for the skipper probably be his lowest score all season. Williams form at the moment is a slight concern. Of course with this happening young palin has the best performance of his young career to do date, unfortunately just had to be against ourselves. Tough team the scorpions at home, think most sides will struggle there this season.

Why would sam hate the place..I know he turned us down a few seasons ago because there was no home track advantage..very very fair track so why can’t he perform on it ???

  3. Last week against Plymouth I was stood in the main stand at the start line and the atmosphere was brilliant.. I went to get a beer or 2 and stayed where the tables were situated at turn 1 and it was awful nobody cheering whatsoever it put me on a bit of a downer to be fair..the view wasn’t great either the tarmac needs raising around that area to get a decent view.

Spot on even in amateurs meetings it doesn't take long for the motorway groove to appear & them lads & lasses arnt going at the pace of the likes of auty & howarth etc . Mr G could easily have the best track in the UK if he put decent material on it

It used to be the best track when it had plenty of dirt on it..certain riders a few years ago requested it to be slick and smooth and it hasn’t changed since

  5. Yes I agree first few heats was similar nature but after that it seemed like hard graft to overtake anyone very disappointing..but still it was an ok meeting with some close racing but to many strung out heats which is not normal viewing at the EWR

I thought that, how many times have you seen someone going from last to first or second by blasting round the boards. Always gets the crowd going as well.

  6. I’ve said for a few seasons now that the track is nothing like it used to be...yes it’s very smooth and easy to ride but as for going into the dirt line for overtaking and getting past opponents it never hardly happens as shown today because the amount of effort that the riders put in to overtake there’s no grip whatsoever and it’s so frustrating for us spectators  never mind the riders.
