  1. I wondered whether anybody on here had seen any of Briggoe,s brilliant 6 BLRC wins?maybe Dave?.I wondered if there was any footage of his wins? he must of been magic to watch around Hyde Rd suited his attacking style. The greatest rider in history for me 18 world finals, 4 times winner, rostrum 6 times ,6 times British title winner(mega line ups) and 6 times BLRC winner. Some cv that and endless other titles a true LEGEND i was lucky enough to see a bit of his later career.

I think I saw all of them and him finishing runner up in the next one, he had an ability to ride close to other riders that nobody could match, often a rider would go into a turn on the inside (almost) only to feel Briggo's right fist pushing against his back, as big Barry seemed able to go through or create gaps that others couldn't.

  2. No Wilkinson, and we sign Joe Screen (reportededly) Apart from the parmo shops, who is going to be happy with that? Dear me all i am now waiting for suchanek and bugeja to sign to round off a perfect team!

Wilko probably won't be on the maximum money, maybe they could up his points money to cover the lost bonus? Dilger had even more bonus points.

  3. Getting Wilko back is a big plus for the club.

Because of the rolling averages comes in on 4.66.

Surely the club have got to utilise that and would build a team that allows Carl to start at reserve.

Surely Jitendra as team manager, gets a say, and he would want Wilko to start at reserve.

    Brian has other ideas.

  4. Bondarenko rode realy well in the 2nd phase meeting at the STMP on the 22/09/2011.

Unbeaten in his last 2 rides. Scores: 1*,2,1,6,2* = 12+2.

On 4.83 deffinately worth a shout, and would be able to start with Wilko at reserve, which is a must.

Have got to utilise Carl's low starting average.

How about this line up, and 6 of last years finnishing team.

    Ostergaard: 7.83

    Summers: 7.76

    Doolan: 7.29

    Kus: 6.85

    Bondarenko: 4.83

    Wilkinson: 4.66

    Mudgway: 3.28

    Total: exactly 42.50.

How many meetings would Kus and Bondarenko miss though? Bondy might have been good at Redcar but he wasn't that impressive elsewhere.

  5. Currently I don't think there is a British rider deserving of GP status. I'm very hopeful of Craig Cook and Richie Worrall for the future and would certainly be giving them as much top end experience as possible, it seems to me to be pointless including riders in the world cup team who you know too well are out of their depth (Bridger and Kennett especially). Having said that, It's nice to still have some interest, a GP series consisting entirely of foreign riders would be of no interest to me.
