Armchair fan that’s a new one for me never been suggested I’m that before!

With the forecast for the rain to stop sooner than it did and both teams already trackside I can see why the Ipswich promotion endeavoured to get the meeting on.

forecast was incorrect, there was more rain and for longer than expected.

given the third and fourth bends were completely flooded last year mid afternoon and they managed to run a decent meeting that evening I’m sure had the rain stopped as was was forecast given an 1hr30 from 1815 to tapes up they could’ve put in the requisite track work to stage the meeting.

rain didn’t stop meeting got called, one of those things that can’t be helped sometimes

So as it hadn't stopped raining at 1815 why wait till 1845 ?

Not understanding the affect of water falling from the sky is a new low even for this forum

I understand the affect of water falling from the sky.... you possibly being an armchair supporter and not actually getting to foxhall last night to see the very wet track makes your comment not only rude and provocative but an even newer low for the forum. Having seen the track at 6.45 I still believe the decision could have been made at 6.15 which would have saved a lot of fan travelling money and time.

Oh come on it wasn’t just the two mate was it? Hume was the only Ipswich rider who struggled with it but he does most weeks. None of the other Ipswich boys struggled to get around.

Only 2 riders to struggle tonight were the 2 sheffield whingers Lambert and Holder. All the other Sheffield riders got either a win, paid win or a second place. Lambert needs to wind his neck in and concentrate on riding... bet he wasn't whinging after his heat win.

I don’t think so, the teams that Louis has put together have in the main been good but we have been unlucky with injuries over the years. Only 2021 was a poor year. And don’t forget that Louis also runs a club that doesn’t have the financial issues that seem to blight many these days. Hawkins is also a promoter so he isn’t going anywhere but his position as team manager must be looked at.

id like to see Mark Loram involved in the set up helping bring on the youngsters although he’d make a good manager if he could fit it around his business commitments.

I agree that new blood is needed in the team and management. Ritchie has had many seasons now and hasn't improved making the same mistakes over and over again. Time to let someone else have a go.

There are 3 positions performing around 2 points under where it would be hoped for a serious title challenge to be on

We need to try something so 2 changes we could make:

    Batchelor for Riss

    Mountain for Rew

How much longer are the Witches going be a 6 man team! We won't win anything with the worst RS in the league, surely there must be a better option ???

I can see 4 or 5 options that are scoring more in the NDL / Championship
