Just read that heaven forbid sky will oudbid eurosport for the SGP rights when there up for grabs. What a shame that would be a eurosport do a first class professional job & the thought of keith bloody heuwen & gary mumbling havelock in the drab studio fills me with dred. FABULOUS GP lovely stadium ,bumper crowd ,superb close racing ,excellent track & a punch up. I really have to commend the commentary team who were yes ok IMO very good (iversen in the vip tent was very funny) but most of all scott nicholls & his buddie (sorry don't know his name ) are a revelation ,they have real chemistry & really add to the whole GP. Well done to all involved especially tai & pedersen (boo) but boy is he great entertainment.

In my quest to find the live gp on sat I have had no luck ,on the 2 tvs we have the quest channels have no sgp listed ,the quest website has nothing & suggests trying another channel. Please reassure me someone that although I am old & not technically minded it is definitely on. Thankyou off for a lie down.

Imo thought the gp was ok brilliant coverage from eurosport ,lovely stadium & setting (having been its a great city) & a bumper crowd. Ok it wasn't the best gp but every sport you care to mention can't always be thrilling every match or meeting. Personally I am just glad its on the tv & produced by a company that whisper it quietly seems to care about our marvellous sport. One other thing that froch right hand was one in a million.

I remember 100 s of years ago olsen walking out on a meeting at eastville bristol v coventry ironically complaining about the track conditions which were pretty bad. Thought last nights meet was standard fair for a big flat track ,yes it was a bit rough but blimey we have seen an awful lot worse. Shame they can't get it right maybe they need stephen hawking to supervise with a more scientific approach he could even do a few laps to pack the surface down. I am happy to stand on a muddy bank ,stand in a field or use s*** toilets if I am paying less than £10. .upwards of £15 for that privilege is unacceptable IMO

Of course the quality of the racing is important but especially for familys most track facilities are rubbish & haven't been improved for donkeys years. When you consider how much we pay to get in at least a toilet facility which dosent resemble the somme isn't a lot to ask. Just as a matter of interest has health & safety ever inspected the toilets at swindon ?

Kelvin & nigel are most definitely to blame for the elite league shambles ,the toilets at swindon ,the track at poole ,promoters ,the cost of going ,meetings taking a lifetime. Its all there fault & i am not joking its obvious.

I read on this forum that the sky contract was £900.000 per year between all the EL clubs. Crikey sky must be skint but I guess when you blow all your cash on footie & F *effing 1 cut backs must be made. Or is it just that they think the EL looks rubbish on tv ?

Ok so sky give each team £100 grand each. They pay all previous bills off & guess what all the money has gone. Don't give it to the teams it needs to be invested into youth ,smartening up statiums etc. Surely we can all see what a complete arse the pleps have made with the sky money. What is the point of signing a new contract with sky if the money is just p***** away like before ? The sky money should be kept away from all promoters /owners etc.
