Hancock is professional & a marvellous role model ,he can certainly gate well but to say he is dull is imo rubbish. Watch swc v gollob dull ? Read a post saying tai was the most natural talent since michael lee well can I throw the name loram in please ,I watched mark grow up on the grasstracks & to be honest for me he is the most natural talent on a bike I have seen ,I had a long chat with jason crump once & his opinion mark was the best racer & natural talent he had ever seen. Another interesting comment was that his dad phil thought peter collins was the most talented but mauger was the best he ever rode against.

Cogratulations mr woffinden well done son you are credit to yourself,yoursport & your family. GB speedway now has a young diamond let's hope we treat him well & he can boost its profile. Also had a bet on the winner tonite at 14/1 great night. Night all roll on next season.

Just put mr shovlar in charge as in his world everything is perfect on planet speedway. You are either blinkered or a wind up merchant & yes you have certainly wound me up with your ridiculous "everything is fine at poole"views. I suppose if all went t*** up & only poole survived you would be happy.

Nothing changes & nothing major has for donkeys years THAT'S THE PROBLEM whilst most sports have realised that we are now in the 21st century speedway (GPs not included)are still stuck in the 50s but without the crowds. Complaining about r/r, guests,poole various promoters etc etc is pointless this sport is on the edge & something needs to be done NOW please.

I guess an independent researcher would ask the riders wouldn't they ? After all they plough into the damn things so I guess there views are paramount. Personally as a fan who has only ever rode a push bike all tracks should have an air/foam fence buts that's imo as I am not crump ,loram or olsen just a fan.

My thoughts are GPs very enjoyable. The EL absolute garbage from start to finish ,I have attended league meetings this year at various tracks & yes i most certainly am a die hard fan but it pains me to say it dire dire dire. All very well complimenting promotions on the play offs (2 & a half hours !!!) But why has all the rest felt as if it was just going thru the motions. Stadiums still look rubbish ,very spectators ,races that take forever & for all that we are asked to pay whati regard as a lot of money. Has the sport ever been in such a state ? No.

Couldn't give a monkeys testicle about whether or not the FIM ,bspa or god wants air fences maybe they should ask the riders after all there the ones putting there lives on the line.

2 adults & 2 kids £45 what a bargain anyway !!!! Not even a seat guaranteed for my wife & kids so they won't be going. Ill be there but its way to expensive.

I can fully understand why a company would show the GPs they look good & come across on tv & live as a quality product. Now can someone anyone tell me why any company would shell out for EL speedway ? I love the sport but we need to attract new supporters & keep the few we have & to be brutal the EL just dosent cut it on tv or live. It looks scruffy on tv,takes forever with teams that change week by week. It is sold as the Elite league but its far from that. If & its a big if any channel did take it then the money should be kept in a central fund then investment should be made in safety ,youth structure & stadiums not on riders wages. Then a massive effort should be made to get on with the meeting re starts have to be looked at & sorted ,scrap 2 minutes & make it 30 seconds etc etc etc etc. All my opinions of course but surely the time has come to sort this bloody mess out before its too late.

Good points but everything you said proves my point ,the sky deal could & should have been good for the sport but due to the shambolic amateur way the sport is run the money has gone & sky are going. The sport should of smartened itself up & invested the money in the infrastructure ,it didn't but that's not sky ,bsi ,eurosport ,david cameron or anyone elses fault except the pleps who RULE !!! Our sport in this country.

What a lost opportunity speedway has lost if / when sky do leave planet speedway. You only have to look at darts to see what could have been achieved. From a fans point of view it just seemed that our goons in charge just took the money & just carried on making no effort to even make the product come over looking good on the box ,surely if efforts were made to make the meetings more professional & run quickly then that would benefit everyone. Oh well we only have ourselves to blame as reading some of these posts it seems the reason speedway in this country is rubbish is the fault of sky or bsi. Wakey wakey at least they give/gave it ago.

Congratulations to poole the best team on the night won. Thought young morris was great. Maybe the poole fans who slagged off hancock saying he was" no replacement for holder" well hang your heads in shame because unlike you lot he is a class act. Should be a great final weather permitting.

Must admit that the length of time it takes to run a 60 second race drives me bloody mad. Restarts FFS no mechanics allowed on track door to pits kept shut if a rider has a problem tough just get on with it. The shenanigans at the start line just get on with it ahhhhhhhhhhh !!! Even in the gps when time must be an issue the farting about can really spoil a great meeting.

Why would BT want to shell out anything on a product which is rotten to the core. Administrators crap ,stadiums crap ,rules crap etc etc etc. Wake up until we start again & stop p****** in the wind it aint going to happoen

Does anyone know where I can get a download of mark loram v chris louis for the british title ? I was there that day & it was for me the most brutal & exciting 2 man race have ever witnessed. 2 mates giving it everything & shaking hands after believe me if you haven't seen it then try. After that day I really thought mark could be a world champion & what a rider he was CLASS

How much did sky pay to show speedway £90,000 ? That dosent sound a lot but I guess when you see what's on offer a fiver would have been too much. If it was £90 grand would that cover installing air or similar fences at all tracks ?

I have no idea how much money sky paid to cover speedway BUT maybe air fences at every track would of been a sound investment. Where did the money go ?

Just noticed the snooker shanghai masters live on eurosport & the final has about 100 people watching but even more amazing is the winner gets 95 grand. !?!! 5 live covered this & sky covered world pool with about 12 people,neither mentioned last nights GP.

SKY have seen the light & will not be showing league speedway next year they would prefer to show netball ,clay pidgeon shooting or anything other than the sport which has riders who put there lives on the line , fans who put up with crap facilities , sky high prices & promoters/owners who seem content with the sport going down the pan.

Because our league is rubbish & run by self centred imbaciles.

Crikey I am obviously easy to please I thought it was a fantastic GP not just the racing it had everything. I don't understand the posts saying that the indoor tracks aren't as good as permanent tracks ,I agree some of the polish tracks are superb but compare saturday to Poole or swindon ok not GP venues but in my opinion poor racing/passing tracks. Indoor is here to stay & surely that's a good thing , ok I am old & going bonkers but for me the GPs are superb.

Let's not kid ourselves why would sky ,eurosport ,playboy channel anyone want to pay & show the disaster that is the Elite league ? Shambolic stadiums ,teams made up of other teams riders ,ancient team managers/ promoters interviewed & spouting gibberish. Christ I am saying all this as a fan of 37 years but for me just from a tv view the GPs are a quality product the elite league is a shambles.

Sorry but the fans saying ". The track was too samall for a GP ,the track was dangerous" & the most hilarious comment "was just an ok meeting" your all having a giraffe. Its all about opinions but that was a hell of a meeting last night up there with the best ever IMO.

Football is different so I guess we just give up & carry on as we are. After watching maybe the best GP ever tonite it shows what a marvellous sport speedway can be unfortunately the elite league & all the muck associated with it is rubbish. Imo of course
