Not petty. Facts speak for themselves. I’m happy to have jack back. The more gp riders the better Don’t get the bitching against Sheffield riders and promotion. Probably jealousy but who cares.
-
Yes that’s right and to finish above jack he would need to finish on the rostrum again and jack not score any points for him to finish higher. Jack outscored max 7 times so because max got 1 podium he’s better is he. To be world champion you have to score more than the rest so I would think if you outscore another rider you are the better rider. If you think max is better that’s your opinion but I don’t get your logic

Shame on Sheffield

Mate you can’t have a debate with anybody that doesn’t accept fact and doesn’t attend meetings. The problems that we’ve had at Sheffield have been out of control of the promotion as we all know. -
I don’t know why fans of other clubs are so obsessed with jacks away form. We were top of the league in a team sport and won more away than anybody else so if I were them I’d be more worried about my own teams away form.

Jack outscored max 7-2 in gps and max won one !!! Max missed one gp So don’t get jack is worse gp rider. Polish league is another competition. Max might be better in the polish league.

Holder 67 Fricke 52 so Jack scores 15 more than Max but is a worse GP rider !!!!! Logic ??

Sheffield v Ipswich PL Monday 24th October
Charlieboy replied to tocha's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I thought there was some decent racing tonight despite the weather we’ve had the last few days along with the stock cars ripping it up yesterday Apparently the track staff worked straight after the stock cars yesterday and finished around 2-30 am so well done lads Good win tonight and confirmed our top spot so it didn’t make any difference to the semi finals Jack Holder is back next season as announced tonight. So just the cup to arrange possibly next week hopefully depending on stadium availability. -

Knowing the bspa they will probably award it to a team that weren’t good enough to get to the final !!! -

Lewis has been quality since he signed for us Always gives 100%. Glad to see it after the nasty injuries he’s had in the past. I think the lad deserves a bit of good luck -

We were very solid apart from Kyle tonight. Deserved the win Kings Lynn were basically a 2 man team. Poor crowd for a cup final which would probably have drawn a few more in if it was ran earlier in the season -
Belle Vue -V Sheffield POF leg 1 Monday 10th Oct
Charlieboy replied to PhilTheAce's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
For Sheffield to have any chance of winning the final all 7 need to ride like last Thursday. We made a few gates but when we didn’t we were very aggressive and each rider made at least one pass Last time we were at Belle Vue when we made gates we got swallowed up usually round 2 nd bend. Their lads were well dialled in while we struggled for the set up. We can’t afford to let that happen or it will be game over. -

Yes they did mate. Think it was near the old pits area where they used to weight the dogs I think. -

It wasn’t roadworks was it ? One part of the incident was the road leading to the car park which was taped off. So no access to car park which in turn puts stress on getting parked near the stadium and about 1500 people having to pass through the area cordoned off by the police so the stadium wasn’t accessible. The access for people who work there has no turnstiles Where do you think other stadiums keep greyhounds ? In the main bar ? -

Charlieboy replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
So you expect the greyhound’s to be caged up all day and night with no food or excercise? Your probably think it’s ok to leave a dog in a car with the windows up on the hottest day of the year !!!! The police advised Sheffield speedway not to open as it would add extra pressure on the road network outside the stadium. If you had been in the area all day you would understand that. Simple !!! -
Sheffield Tigers v King's Lynn Stars, League Cup Final 1st Leg, 29/09/22
Charlieboy replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The roads outside the stadium have been closed since 10 pm last night and not all are open now. Do you think the police are more bothered about getting forensic evidence or letting a speedway meeting go ahead ? The incident took place on both sides of the dual carriageway with someone driving down the wrong side hence both sides been affected. The greyhound staff can enter the stadium via a side road and have to get in to feed and look after the dogs. I would suspect the greyhound meeting was behind closed doors but obviously can’t confirm that. -

Police incident outside track on penistone rd. police been there all day and rd still closed so hopefully it’s open for tonight and meeting goes ahead. -
24 th at Sheffield 27 th Belle Vue last I heard !!
-
Without any more rain offs we could probably do Ipswich at home on Monday 17 th October and Kings Lynn away Thursday 20 th October unless riders /stadium are unavailable
-
We could default to a Wednesday in the best interest of the sport though
