Gavan the car salesman (Remeber all that rubbish he gave on here and was found out ) looks in the mirror and I see that other waste of space "Stevo" the teacher ( but like before, of course, he will deny it and yet years ago he said on here....., " he had to "rush off to mark up some homework from his pupils" is STILL as antagonistic as ever. Congratulations to Wolves on winning and I'm pleased to see one of my favourite riders Peter Karlsson, leave the sport he loves on a high.

Last night was so tense and I fully expect a lot more to come! While having 12 points advantage to Poole is good for the Pirates - however with a fired up Wolves team on their own track this meeting is far from over. Wolves will attempt to hit Poole hard and fast from the off so Poole have got to go on the attack as well. Thoughts and predictions here folks and as always, lets hope for another cracking and safe meeting. May the best team win.

Just ignore the comment. Predictably and like a stuck record he uses it against Poole time and time again. It's actually insulting to Coventry who beat us fair and square in 2010. Clear to see the disappointment in some peoples posts that we didn't "Choke" last night.

Of the two here I'm hoping for a Lakeside win over the two meetings and that has absolutely nothing to do with Poole!....Just that I'd like to see Lakeside win. Good luck to both teams for hopefully a cracking and safe meeting.

After a long winter without speedway I always look forward to the start of another season. The thought of an extended year without speedway is horrible and not for me.

PIRATES boss Matt Ford has made a sensational swoop to bring back Antonio Lindback after a 10-year Poole hiatus. The Rio Rocket has been confirmed as a replacement for injured Hans Andersen ahead of next week's Elite League play-offs. Swedish GP star Lindback comes in on a 7.00 average having been assessed following a nine-year absence from British speedway, his last foray on these shores being a largely unsuccessful spell at Belle Vue in 2007. Lindback is a terrace favourite at Wimborne Road having claimed Elite League titles with Poole in 2003 and 2004. He is currently eighth in the Grand Prix standings. Boss Ford told the Echo: "Rule 16.3.4.1 says you can have a seven-day window to replace a long-term injured rider for the play-offs, which is what we are doing to bring Antonio in. "Timing wise it's perfect and it's a dream for me to bring Anton back. I never thought we'd get the chance again." Pirates look almost certain to face Wolves in the semi-finals, with the first leg at Wimborne Road on Wednesday. I hope a couple of Poole riders use this meeting to bring back a bit of confidence going into the play-offs. No meeting is a given so if we are to win I expect the lads to put in a performance that will make the other play-off teams worry about us.

Simple fact is Gavan that any good points you make about Poole speedway (occasionally there are a few!) are lost through insults and flaming rhetoric therefore we are unable to take you seriously. Why would we when it's so obvious you enjoy getting a rise out of people on this forum. Lets face you feel you the need to comment on every Poole thread as if it's your mission in life when in fact you are just plain trolling and like all trolls, you remain in denial which often leads to pathetic backtracking. ​Some of the insults you have dished out should have have lead to a permanent ban a long time ago and it only highlights the weakness in the moderation on here.
