Well he posted he was going to be the jury president. Thought my memory was ok on that :D

I was talking about Nike

I do know Jouni has his FIM official duties. Dont know his current role in the CCP though.

Our friend Jouni was there in an official capacity I think

Whatever happened to the kid with the big hair ?

Not official, but I gather he was literally in pieces after all the crashes. Read in an interview that he now runs a b&b or similar in Bali or thereabouts.

FSP knows it all- he must be on a bender at the moment or he would have replied  :D

Still one day work left before three weeks off, so this time you got it wrong…

On what Jesper said about money, dont know for sure. But from what I’ve discussed with people in the know, for a racing team to travel to Europe from Finland, covid19 tests and all related increase the travel budget between 1-1,5k €. Partly because you just dont travel to Marmande from Helsinki on your own in a van. So even though I dont understand, I do understand the bit about staying home. And Jesse being suspended is basic FIM rulebook stuff.

And yes I have info, but ATM not the time. I’d do a Facebook search with rider names and see what comes up.

  4. It was a good video, had to watch it all the way to see the light.

Doubling either way is needed cos there are not enough riders to fill the teams. Even mid 90’s most of the riders in the leagues were foreign. More riders, less problems, not happening cos speedway is out of fashion.

Agree with you... well at least 66.6%

Killer falls off if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction and he seemed alright with it after the incident

With Lahti, Nicki didn't move off his line, was marginally in front when Lahti came off, there was still a lot of track left to ride and the throttle goes both ways

Birkemose would do well to wind his neck in and show a bit more respect to the 3 x World Champ, all his histrionics after the incident was embarrassing

To be involved in 3 incidents in one night is unusual and the law of averages says there's going to be one wrong decision, no excuse for any alleged violent behaviour but nothing wrong with a frank exchange of opinions

Did you watch the right meeting? I recall that Lahti incident from weeks back…

    From the Extraleague- Google translated

Ekstraliga Żużlowa commissioned in the research and development center of the tire industry to test the hardness of tires from Anlas and Mitas after the 9th round matches of PGE Ekstraliga: eWINNER Apator Toruń - BETARD Sparta Wrocław and FOGO Unia Leszno - ELTROX Włókniarz Częstochowa (played on June 11).

Apart from used tires, new tires of both manufacturers were also submitted for testing. The results of laboratory tests show that both tire brands with FIM approval, valid in 2021, are comparable, i.e. the average values of rubber hardness in the so-called Shore Scales are very similar for both tire brands.

The expert test was carried out using a method which consisted in the fact that the hardness of the tires was measured after mounting them on the rim, at a pressure of 1 bar, at a temperature of about 20 degrees Celsius on the central tread blocks, in four places, turning the wheel by 90 degrees and after two measurements on the sides of the tire.

In total, 8 hardness checks were performed for each tire.

Due to the fact that both Anlas and Mitas tires, according to the test and its results, in terms of their hardness slightly differ from the standards adopted in FIM approvals for the 2021 season (lower tire hardness value on the Shore scale, Ekstraliga Żużlowa will contact the Polish Automobile Association to refer the matter to the FIM for clarification).

Until any decision by the entity granting the approval, i.e. FIM, the tires of both manufacturers can be used in PGE Ekstraliga competitions.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that PGE Ekstraliga will regularly perform laboratory tests of new tires from both manufacturers, controlling their hardness level depending on the production date.

Only one question regarding this: Was this test method the same that the FIM Homologation test process is?

Just watched the video and the track looks in decent nick for Terenzano, although i don`t think i have ever seen a decent meeting there.

Edit 3rd bend troublesome towards end of meeting.

I believe there was a wet spot in turn1 that made the track unridable at the time it was supposed to start.

I’ve actually been there twice. The latter was the SeC quali that took about 90 minutes to get the first set of heats done.

The track shape could use some adjusting, I must say. From memory the local club dont have any/a lot of riders of their own and I was quite overwhelmed how such a speedway facility can excist in Italy.

Indeed they can, the more of us that adopt this stance the greater the chances of them backtracking and putting it on normal tv, I don't enjoy watching with foreign commentary as much as English but I'll live with it, no way will I shell out for the player, on principle alone.  From what I gather there was no commentary on the player for the last round anyway, Eurosport are a bunch of tossers.

Actually the chance will be greater that speedway will disappear for TV and players alltogether.

It is if you pay for Eurosport TV and expect round 1 to be the only round they are not showin live on the main channels. :)

That was the money for the Eplayer...

I’m just told I cant watch Timo Lahti LIVE tomorrow on the main TV Of the house,  as FI is playing the Euros at the same time. WTF is this!!!!

Was considering paying for the Eurosport player. Still available for £19.99 for the year up to midnight on Saturday.
However I cannot watch the meeting live on Saturday evening and there not does appear to be a repeat scheduled.
Is there an easy way to record the transmission on the player? Or can I anticipate a repeat appearing on YouTube or where ever?

Isnt that an offer not to be refused? I paid 8€ a month last year. Over here ES also shows snooker.
