no not at all but using that as point of reference the points limit won't be what taffy says as it probably will have changed a thousand times by NovemberYou dont honestly believe do you that everythings decided at the anual promoters conference.
-
and when were you at the promoters conference which if am correct isn't until November so how would you know about points limits when they will not have been set in stone yetSeems the decision has been made to keep points limit at 42,5 again for 2014. So now you can work out your teams.

Micky Dyer should have been top of the list to signLooking from outside looking in I would say that there were a few factors that have define Berwick's season.
Seb Alden not re-signing which I believe ,mean't that the Promotion had to change the team line up at the last minute.
The obvious one was the lost of Ricky Ashworth not once but twice, and the second one must have had effect on the riders.
The signing of Eddie Kennett at the time appeared to be a Master plan, but for one reason or another just did work out.
But one of the biggest for me had to be not re-signing Micky Dyer from the season before.

no kozza now by the looks of it so you may get to see the rockets win at shielfield at least this year you won't have to put up with DIck Barrie's disgraceful and totally unessesary treatment of your number one riderBandits will struggle with two NL guests in place of Paul & Kozza, but they managed ok without ANY reserves in last years Bandits v Rockets match!

Wish I'd stayed at home
Mind you it was good to see a decent centre green presenter at brough who seems to be able to go on the centre green and not be rooted to the spot in front of the announcers box as the previous two did
-
Totally opposite to last week best ever prepared track ave seen at shielfield to one of the worstNice steady rain at the moment, should get some water into track. Forecast is OK fo this evening. If the track is prepared the same as last week, nice and slick please, should be good racing.

when you look at the presentation at Newcastle with probably the worst centre green presenter in the western world you have nothing to complain aboutSome truely fantastic racing last night, some savage first bends and some breathtaking overtakes.Pawlicki was a worthy winner, his ovetake on Dudek in Ht18 was incredible.Felt for Gomolski as if it hadnt been for a first ride exclusion he could very well have been the winner on the night himself.Lebedevs was very entertaining to say the least.
Proves once and for all the even when Shielfield Park is prepared on the slick side you can still race, maybe a dvd should be winging its way to the Berwick riders to give them a clue.
This promotion has done wonders to bring Berwick Speedway kicking and screaming into the 21st Century, they have now proved, not for the first time that they are more than capable of hosting the very best of meetings.Sadly IMO they are being let down by the meeting presentation on these big occasions,we have track and facilities ready for a modern era,yet the presentation is straight out of the 70s.On a normal PL night its fine but when the great and the good of the FIM and BSPA are there just something more up to date mightve caught the eye and left a lasting memory when these types of meetings are handed out in the future.

if you say that was the reason then it must be trueHe told me he didnt want to practice as the track was slick as ****.

Until league structures are known, it is pointless for any club's supporters to start discussing who, and who not, should be signed.
However, that is a whole new thread (which will engross a whole lot of posters all autumn) and has little do do with Glasgow's entertaining visit to Berwick last night.
Spoken like a true club representative
-
Glasgow are fans always a pleasure to have at shielfield and there are always plenty off them no matter how good or bad a run they are having shame some of the other teams couldn't travel with the same attitude

-
Can anyone tell me when Barbara Horley is next at Berwick I want to make sure I book a week off work and bring a change of clothes and a sleeping bag

News on David Bellago is promising. Last I heard was he took a bang to the head, possible concussion. If confirmed that's remarkable!
He's a very lucky man think we all thought it was a serious injury .
Wonder if any of the comments on yesterday's meeting will be taken in by the powered that be or just ignored as usual
-
A long long day hope everyone's ok shame we got lumbered with a totally useless ref today who didn't seem able to let any race go without pulling it back but then she is the world champ at dragging a meeting out
