Sometimes no news is good news As for the fans favourite who likes the BP track, Kauko,Magnus or the Tractor( only joking ) Fingers crossed on Doyley, top pro I was hoping for Steady but maybe not this year-shame.
-
Rolf Gramstad now there's a name He was great around Leicesters Blackbird Road in the early 80s and a great bloke too
-
Definitely 3 finals in 3 years is testament to that I remember Coppel and Hill absolutely terrorising their full backs .Fantastic viewing especially when they beat Derby County 2-0 in the semi final.Poor old Hugh Johns wasn't happy on Star Soccer

Hey Boffy Looking thru all the posts and happen to notice your quote underneath. What a good side they were Steve coppell,Gordon hill were unstoppable and stuart Pearson a top bloke and target man The start of the united revival under the 'Doc' 76-77 or was it was 77-78 Takes me back to posters on my bedroom walls from Shoot

They are quite shocking aren't they Luckily not all lions fans are so moronic but I do agree that eveyone has an opinion With regard to a our own TV reality show what about ' I'm not a celebrity but I may be a Tool get me outta here ' Is there any more anyone can conjure up? Shirl

Thanks for that Skidder , fingers crossed that he's coming back as he's a class act.
-
I was right !! Toilet attendant
-
Flagrag do you happen to know what Is Lionkings official position is a BP cos I reckon he either works in the burger van as he has a massive chip on his shoulder or toilet attendant as he does come out with some sh*te
-
Thanks for that Skidder I wait with baited breath
-
Thanks for the info, where do I find the fast track lists for 2015
-
Here goes Doyley Stead King Wozniak Cooky Starke Clegg They might not fit average wise but mainly brit based so not so many meetings missed?
-
I hope that you get Steady back too as he is a class act and as long as he stays injury free,in my opinion the best in the premier league. This season at Leicester he was brilliant on and off the track I just hope that we don't change or race night to a Thursday as we won't be seeing him in Lions colours and that would be a great shame. Good luck to you tigers next season
-
I totally agree Gemini its shocking They used to use it to wrap chips in but they don't do that these days cos it gives them a strange taste of Bulls**t As for the Aylestone Bulldog not sure maybe it's a rare breed,as some of the residents in the said area maybe

Shirl replied to Rob B's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
How can you forget Dave Lanning all them years ago on good old World of Sport ,he was multi talented he did the Darts and the wrestling too. Legend!! -
Sounds good already Jason Doyle,Simon Stead and Craig Cook not bad for starters then
-
Simon Stead has just won the PLRC Well done Steady and tops a great season for Sheffield and the lions. We need him back with he lions next season along with Doyley, absolutely the top performers this season No we need him You've got PK,we need JD
-
Well done to Doyley into the GP for next season. Let's hope he is back in lions colours next season but I can't see it unless we change the race night. Probably back at Swindon ?
-
He may well have his inconsistencies but what rider doesn't. What you can't ignore is his total commitment to his club and country Maybe others should look at the way he conducts his business. Having watched him at Leicester this season whether with bees or the many guest appearances he always gives 100% and you can see why managers want him when they need a guest appointment. Well done Bomber for qualifying again for the GP series!
-
What do reckon,is he a bitter or a lager man.? Going back to the original point,Chris Harris is always good value.
-
Is that 5 points or 5 pints!!

Leicester V. King's Lynn Thursday Sept 11th
Shirl replied to Star Fever's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Maybe diplomacy isn't his thing ,after the referendum on Thursday he may need a work permit. I don't think his words towards his riders all season have been very supportive so Hunter I would echo your thoughts regarding potential riders wanting to come to BP. Surely if your the team manager you have to back your riders publicly even if your not happy with them . Most people give old Leonard Rossiter at the Robins a hard time but he knows how to get the best out of his subjects -
Poole Vs Leicester 20/08/2014
Shirl replied to Tom Turner's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Going to Poole is never going to be an easy night even with our full team but this one looks like a damage limitation exercise. Can't see many lions fans making the trip The only hope we have is if all the pirates decide to have a pub lunch and kick on for a few more jars. Fingers crossed they'll be that p..sed that they'll miss the 2 min clock?? -
I've never seen it before but apparently Matt Ford has bought one for Darcy so he knows how long he has to down his pint
-
Thank god it's commercial break time
-
Hope he's riding at Leicester next Saturday cos it's only £ 3.00 a pint !
