Are Sky Sports covering this event? was it not 7pm last year?
Don't think so, nothing on the schedule on their website, though I'm sure it was announced very late last year (I think i remember it being announced on air during the Monday meeting before), so fingers crossed!

Nick cannot guest for Sam, his average is way too high
By 'we' i mean Edinburgh, not Leicester.
-
Really looking forward to this meeting shame that 3 of the 4 reserves are missing through other engagements. R/R for Berwick going to an interesting one as to who takes Claus last ride as we don't have Richard Hall to rely on leaving Garcia,Edberg or Carr to fill it.
Probably depends on how the meeting is going. If your leading comfortably they might just give Garcia an extra ride to learn the track.
If its tight then whoever is going best on the night will be in, id probably be expecting it to be Edberg.

You may be right, the track might suit him better once he's dialled in and if he's scoring good points at home, it could give him confidence to score points away as well.I actually think with decent machinery, he could become more than a "decent reserve", he has something about him, he just needs the right help and guidance, Something he wouldn't/did'nt get at Redcar.
Will make a note to watch his progress from now until the end of the season.

Just been looking at the team line up for this one the Lions have again to do without the services of Master, riding in the PL.
.
Sam isn't riding PL, he travelling to Italy (I think it was Italy) for his GP challenge semi final.
We have Nick Morris guesting for him.
Not that it makes a difference, but just confirming that just incase it sparks a needless EL vs PL debate.

In the Speedway Star today that Richie Hawkins has been released by Ipswich. Not suggesting him as a replacement for Ben Barker, but he's an ex-Berwick rider and was impressive when Ipswich were up here in the Cup. A decent rider to have lower down the team?
Only rider that would be worth replacing due to RH's average (which if i remember correctly has dropped below 4.00 from next week) would be Edberg, so I don't think that will happen.

I actually think, with decent machinery under him, RK could be a fairly decent reserve.
Also worth remembering he was seen as the senior reserve at Redcar, but won't be at P'Boro, so there is less pressure on him to perform.
I'm disappointed its lost another British youngster a place, but maybe what OG needs is a confidence boosting spell back in the NL and start afresh next season in the PL, a year more mature and experienced. Will be interesting to see how RK settles in at the EOES.

Will make do with the updates for this on, hopefully a good meeting for those travelling down.
I'm going to say it will be a tough battle, leading to a 48-42 win for the monarchs, good luck lads!
-
Morris and Pijper don't really weaken us IMO, so should still win comfortably enough.
Hopefully the Fish rolls back the years to mark the significance of the night and puts in a good performance, looking forward to see how Holder goes around Armadale. Hope for a good meeting most of all after last weeks "meeting"!
Il go for for a 56-36 win, and hopefully both our lads do the business in the GP qualifiers!

No idea, but scored 0 from 4 rides (5 if you count his R/R rides) and was just coasting round at the back each time.Getting the average down or just genuinely now a 3 point reserve?
Didn't look interested at all!
-
Morley and Graversen were NOT in several I was referring to - can't commemt on effort but from updates and results Morley totally exceeded what was expected/required from him!!
Apologies I didn't read your first properly and guessed you meant everyone but Worrall.
Agreed Graversen also gave 100% for very little, scored solidly apart from his heat 15 appearance.
-
Well Roynon gets his chance tomorrow at Rye House to show Panthers what they are missing.
If he puts in the same effort as he did tonight, I'd say they aren't missing much.
-
Have to agree, although I was fairly impressed with the visible effort that Ben Morley put in to not really get much out of his heats.Public thank you to Steve Worrall for turning up and giving Edinburgh fans some value for their admission fee, Seems several Bears couldn't be arsed tonight!!!
That's just my opinion of course, maybe bears fans see it differently.

Theo Pijper guests for Kenneth Hansen.
Liam Carr guests for Nicki Barrett.

Why were the SKY graphics saying that the reserve spots were EL draft ones?
The PL has already made it clear it wants to do its own thing. 2 of the riders (Bates and Sarjeant ) qualify but already have an established PL average so are invalid. The other 2 don't even qualify for the FTD.
Always good to see PL action on SKY for a change and Glasgow cone out with plenty of credit.
I think it was just a mistake and they forgot to change the graphics (though I wouldn't rule out laziness) more than anything else.

Calm down, I have some good tablets for you if you want to chill out, if not try this :drink:
I don't think Jenga is legally allowed to try that yet.....

I've just read that report. Such a bit bunch of bad losers never congratulate the other team. Loads of excuses when they get beat yet the other team is never allowed any! Still at least Cook flew round his old track.......oh wait a sec.
Don't take one report and think we are all like that, yes if Kevin had been riding we may have snatched a point, but overall we threw away to many points in the second half of the meeting to even deserve a point, let alone a win.
If were going to start to tarnish every fan with the same brush because of one person, does that mean every Ipswich fan has a weird obsession with Cookie?

Some of the Monarchs on here are ones you can have banter and debate with, they know where the line is drawn and can admit their mistakes, or can be impartial when its crossed i.e. Mr Blobby, Dekker, Ekimba, Young51. .
I hope I fall into this catagory 👍
-
I said it earlier, and if SCB is correct, and he usually is, then it has to be Rory Schlein.
Bet all the Elite club will have their fingers crossed that that won't happen, will reduce his free time for guesting!
-
Masters going to number 1 might not be a bad thing for Craig it might actually help him get going and back to the form we all know he is capable of IMO.
I had this conversation on Friday night with someone.
It leaves less pressure on him and it means he can then push on to get that #1 jacket back.

the staff are rude (with the exception of the clerk of the course) .
Is there any particular incident you can refer to or are you tarnishing all staff members with the same brush?
(FWIT I'm a staff member, as part of the admin team, and we constantly get drilled into us to be helpful to our customers, ie the fans of both teams)

I'm not 100% sure, but I think he meant Dak North was much older, rather than Max.
