  1. Off topic, but don't mention Glasgow semi final, travelled from Bristol to watch Bridger, pulled out last minute!

Hope you enjoyed the meeting though. I travelled down for the pairs at somerset one year and I arrived late. When I got in the staduim shane parker had just come a cropper and withdrew for the meeting, I can relate to your frustration.

  2. Every contested first bend

    every elbow, nudge

    could be too much.

everytime I watch races the first bend really can be scary. These guy's put it on the line in this part of the race to get the advantage for lines and we have all seen pile ups where the riders walk away. Speedway as a sport It makes me respect every rider or anyone who has given it a try, its so dangerous it takes our young idols and favourite riders without notice. The lucky ones live but have terrible injuries that ends free movement and life quality, Ricky Ashworth, leigh adams, Gary Havelock, David McAllen, Darcy Ward too name a few.

  3. Fantastic from Richard Lawson love to see him doing well. Aaron has struggled EL so far but is in a disjointed team thats struggling with low morale. I hope the lions can turn things around and their riders show what they are capable of. Excuse my lack of knowledge but what can the lions do to strengthen? The 28 days is not the best way to deal with this issue seems unfair to club involved.

  4. I must admit I fall into the category of speedway only and don't follow any other motorsport. There is no sport that comes close as a spectacle and there is no sport that can match the danger involved for participants. Speedway gives me butterflies before races start and feeling the vibrations in my chest standing at the tapes before the go up is just fantastic.

  5. Although you never mentioned his name in your post it clearly refers to Richard. Rules are rules but in speedway they are so inconsistent when it comes to enforcing them. I doubt that the referees know all the rules and thats the problem. Richard would have won yesterday if he had a short back and sides it wouldn't have made a difference. Ok your not a wimp and I will take that part back at least your post wasn't as insulting as jenga's.
