Leicester Lions 2018
Shale Searcher replied to The Observer's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
A good news story, and it's not discussed on its clubs yearly thread.. Great idea, "Kids" for free during the summer, we have to "ground bait" for the fans of the future, this is a good start.. Wonder if any other clubs will follow? -

Leicester Lions v Wolverhampton Wolves, 2 July 18

He was still on the racing surface, albeit right against the kerb, don't know why he didn't pull onto the centre green, as it was a dangerous position to park up! Ref should have red flagged the race, excluded him, and put the remaining Wolves rider off 15 metres!! In my humble opinion........ -

It's how the bike looks as well, the other week, a NL rider and mechanic spent best part of 2 hours piddling about with those spoke straws, all nicely colour coordinated, ish, with rest of guards/covers, but in their quest for making bike look good, they failed to notice a broken spoke!! The one with the balancing weight, which was swinging more than the swinging footrest!!! Very nearly missed his first race....

Shale Searcher replied to steve roberts's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
The Lions suits of the very late 1960's, 70's and even 80's were still designed to be worn in conjunction with club race jackets, that combo looked good...... -

Shale Searcher replied to Shale Searcher's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Well, if we'd have 5-1'd in ht 15, we would have won by 12!! Got to stop away sides getting these bonus points, it will cost us play off place come end of August.... -

I'd say, they'd be poor figures at PL/EL 5 yrs ago, more like 1,500 for CL/Old PL around 5 yrs ago..... -
