News on tickets & stadium attendance allowed etc is due any day now. The stadium was built with a capacity around 6000 but bends 3 & 4 are not able to be used. The main stand has around 2000 seats. When speedway starts in May only the main stand & bends 1 & 2 will be used, but how many spectators the local council will allow in is anybody guess at the moment.

Since speedway started at Central Park there has only been one occasion where the curfew was broken, against your team Eastbourne. You must be so proud of the rediculous display by the Eastbourne Management and team to try every trick in the book to delay the meeting to stop Kent winning that you are prepared to bring the subject back up years later. It wound Len up that much he was prepared to face a back lash from the planners by going over the curfew limit. Obviously the Eastbourne supporters must like that type of pathetic behaviour but I don't believe the new Eastbourne management & riders will stoop that low again.

Kent will run on Tuesdays, they will also run on some bank holidays (not in the same week). As far as planning goes I believe they are allowed to run Championship or NL any evening except Saturday finishing by 8.30pm except Friday which is 9.15pm or run on a bank holiday but finish by 6.30pm.

Boxall is not in the championship team.

I would guess he is talking about Mr Boxall, his ban finished last August.

Maybe it would have been a good idea to give the place to Dan Gilkes as reward for coming runner up in the u19's. Gilkes out scored Palin at Belle Vue & Kent in every meeting they raced against each other last season.

Len has been doing work at the track & is installing the air fence in the next couple of weeks. He is hoping for a mid August start. Yes you are right there will be very little time to run 2 teams but I think his priority will definitely be Championship.

Formular 1, Motocross, Moto GP, Rallycross, superbikes etc world championships are held in multiple countries. To have the world speedway championship over several rounds just in Poland would hand the championship to a Pole, especially if Emil/Doyle etc decide not to take part in the Polish league.

I agree with you. He did a good solid job for Kent last year and was very popular.

I don’t see championship riders having any problems with the track, the better standard riders seem to find different lines around C Park without problems. In fact in a recent Q & A on the inter web Ellis Perks said Kent was his favorite track.

You can get a train to Sittingbourne station and walk to the track or if your short of time a taxi, I’m not sure of the cost. If you look like a speedway supporter someone may feel sorry for you and pick you up on the way. One of the benefits of the meetings finishing at 8.30 is no rush for the last trains.
