My goodness, the voice of reason. Wolves biggest loss has been Doc Bridgett. When he was doing the preparation Wolves consistently won track of the year awards, you could ride anywhere on the track and the racing was superb. It was praised by virtually all riders. So the logical conclusion is that there nothing particularly wrong with the shape, but the preparation needs to be spot on, and maybe that is what we haven't got at the moment.

No it wasn't.  Even when you had riders like Ermolenko and Correy there it produced boring racing.  It's an embarrassment to British Speedway that tracks like that are still being allowed to stage the sport.

So much hatred for Birmingham on here by so called speedway fans but fear not I'm sure your bile can be directed somewhere else when we are gone!

It's not hatred at all.  Its calling them out for a disregard for the safety of the riders and track preparation

The NHS is in mess.  Last thing they need are ambulances being stood next to a speedway track for two hours waiting for someone to fall off.

Utter rubbish.  One thing you should not penny pinch with is medical cover.

Clearly, the riders safety is not very high on many clubs priorities

He started only his second season (I think) in British speedway on 5.27 and finished on 6.95 and he’s still only 22. What more did you expect?

Considering we keep being told what a superstar he'll be, then I'd be expecting a lot more.  No better than Janniro or Fisher on the evidence I've seen

Need to rip the entire team up tbh.

Cant go with the same formula they've been doing for years as it doesn't work.

Chop starts with Masters and then work down. Need riders who can perform away from home rather that average to poor performances on the road.

Build the team around Douglas & Becker imo.

Not so sure about Becker.  Mediocre at best

I thought the idea was to win, Peterborough doing more than enough in that department.  Nick Morris the one who's cost Wolves any chance of pulling off a win.

Superb character from Peterborough,  but they've hardly been challenged.  Kings Lynn and Ipswich must be watching this wondering how this Wolves team got into the top 4 over them.  They'd have put up more of a fight than this

Sadly the bikes now dont deliver the racing levels they used to on the tight circuits..

Too grippy and they bite too much and spit riders off..

Too slick and passing is practically impossible without rider mistakes..

Tonight was one of the better meetings I have watched at Wolves over the past few years...

Not more than 6/10 though if honest..

Nothing to do with the bikes.  Even when you had the likes of Ermolenko and Correy riding there it churned out boring racing

The meeting this morning was good. Pearson didn't need any spin, they should have shown more of it.

Monmore can produce good racing but you need riders who can ride it, such riders are dwindling fast as the bikes get quicker and emphasis is on Poland is the place to be.  Except for the current Wolves septet all the others I'd put in that category currently ride for Peterborough.  Kurtz was much better than I expected tonight, thought he'd ride it like Batchelor does(n't).

When?  It's been garbage all season and has been for years.

Decent speedway meeting. BV with only 4 riders were always going to struggle. I can see it being closer tonight tbf.

Bewley will be one of the top 5 riders in the world when he starts to gate consistently. Great track craft and now has some top class equipment. Riding in Poland alongside Tai has brought him forward a million steps. A shame we likely won’t see him in this country next season.

Wolves we’re solid through and tho I felt BV had more top end firepower, it didn’t show with Kurtz who had some bad luck if we are being honest. Felt the score would have been closer otherwise.

Wright was much improved and seems to be coming into some form before these play offs.

BVs issue is clear, the brothers are nowhere near at it and until they sort it out we have no chance.

Wolves at a canter for the league IMO

No chance.  Peterborough are miles stronger imo

Not a Panthers fan, but I would expect Peterborough to pick Sheffield in the hope that Wolves put Belle Vue out. If it's Wolves' choice, also Sheffield in the hope that Belle Vue put Peterborough out!

Wouldn't shock me if Peterborough pick Wolves.  Wolves struggle at the EOES and Peterborough were very unlucky to lose at Monmore a few weeks ago.  There a miles better team
