Isle Of Wight Wightlink Warriors 2016

No more than £40 inc prog would seem ok -
You could well be right. I think he had quite a sticky start to last year, especially with bike problems. Can't see bike problems being a problem (!) for long once he comes under the wing of the Eagles promoters. No problem then, in upping his average.
-
You can make a good argument for each of those increasing their averages in 2016. Riders improving makes for a winning team and eventual success. We shall see how much of a Nostradamus AI3x200 is or whether it is just dear old Mother Shipton blethering on. (Not sure of who Nostradamus and Mother Shipton are? Google it but basically people predicting the future)

That would go a long way to lift the spirits of speedway fans everywhere
-
Thing is, will Connor be Santa and tell us the next member of the team before we tuck into Christmas dinner? Must get down to Arlington to see if the reindeer are still grazing on the centregreen and if Roy is getting the sleigh ready.
-
As I have said before, a club which announces the following year's team the minute the stuff is packed away for the previous year are wasting publicity opportunities. Riders named, one at a time, and spaced out gets headlines and radio coverage. And people on here ask promoters to promote and then fly off the handle when they do. Makes me smile.

I think Eastbourne have to give Richie Andrews another go. Need to enrol him in Tumble Tots so he doesn't break his thumb when he falls.
-
I'm not surprised - the King's Lynn track last year was the worst I have seen it in many a long day. I commented during the season in a similar vein. God knows what the tracks that finished below Lynn were like.
-
Where did it all go wrong? You could write a book. Rapacious developers Promoters forgetting speedway is in the entertainment business Swept away by the dominance of PL soccer Some chapter headings there for budding authors.
-
And it's Jake Knight - that's official - who can ride big and small tracks. Looks like a great signing on a six-point average: he is capable of far more than that, especially when he settles in to the Arlington family.
-
Maybe Paul Dugard to replace Kelsey in the team. Paul still looked good when he had a ride round last year on Kelsey's bike - and he was wearing trainers. He's still got it.
-
All hangs on that No 1 man now. C'mon Buster lets have a really big name.
-
Bjarne held it together for Eastbourne; especially at home. However, not a signing to get the fans jumping up and down. Probably be OK as the 2nd heatleader.
-
Trouble with trying to work out who it might be is that Connor is not afraid to look all over the world. BWD from NZ and Spillerman from Germany.
-
Well Phillips was well and truly left field. Is this another one of the same ilk, or is Connor teasing?
-
Expect the unexpected when it comes to Eastbourne Speedway. Nick Phillips was left field for me. Having said that, it looks as if Connor has done his homework, as usual. If he turns out like Georgie Wood, we will be in clover.
-
Didn't Lynn race a lot of times on a Thursday in 2014?
-
Club has said there will be another name before Christmas. I am sure Santa Connor will deliver. I saw the reindeer and sleigh in the car park at Arlington this morning.

Johnson is a NL journeyman. No doubt will score a few at home but struggle away, unless he can realyy up his game -
Quite happy to wait until the club is ready to announce the team. I have no worries. Connor and Martin got it right last time and changed when necessary; as proved by 3 cups on the sideboard. Publicity post New Year's Day is what any club wants. I have never seen the wisdom of club's firing all their shots and announcing teams within days of the previous season ending.

I think it was Mauger for Exeter. In the old British League. Doubt that sets a precedent for the all-new shiny Elite League
-
There were suggestions at the time that votes for Briggo had been flushed down the toilet to ensure he didn't win
-
Having IT First back as sponsors is a massive deal for Eastbourne. The value IT First bring is far more than cash. Their involvement is key. Welcome back-and to Ben and Georgie. Who next? Bound to be a surprise or two with Connor at the helm
-
Will be OK if he sits still. Anticipating the starts will keep getting him excluded.

Did I miss something in 2015? Did Wolves run every week on a Monday from March 15 to October 31?
