Wrong!

Ace does not have to take a rider replacement ride.
Do keep up.
Yeah they've increased the medication.

If Ace takes an r/r outing, Complin can take 2 of his rides.
Can't see how anyone can defends Brown's team managing here.

22 hours ago, szkocjasid said:Once again shocked that Pijper got a 4th ride, I find it hard to believe a team manager could be that incompetent, so can only assume he thought Glasgow already had it in the bag or likes getting grief online from fans? There's no way he can think Pijper would have outperformed Complin in that race!

Yeah and no one agreed with him from the comments they read out lol. Another 5 mins and I muted BSN as I can't be listening to Roynon for 2 hours.
You can be biased all you like. The replays showed that Thompson took Ace's left leg away. If you want to be in denial, biased and blind then that's your choice.

Which is why we never learn and still have the most important matches in October when its cold and wet and all speedway tracks adversely affected.
Solution - stage important matches when its warm and dry, finish by latest early September. Could easily have done it if dispensed with the BSN cup and started league matches in early May instead of in June.

Not allowed for final

As is totally the norm at Ashfield - pity they have to run the most important matches in October in cold wet weather that changes all speedway tracks.

1 hour ago, Macca said:What second strings mate? They have four heat leaders at home (five when Vissing riding) with two reserves!
You mean unlike Edinburgh who have 1 heat leader and 6 reserves? Although all heat leaders at home at armadump right enough.

1 hour ago, Nickinho said:This is what I don't understand. Most Tigers fans consider this exciting racing but it's like watching F1. It's often like this and crowds have dwindled but because Glasgow are winning meetings week in and week out it's "exciting". The Sheffield-Ipswich clash last week had a lot of exciting races and overtaking despite the terrible weather and it was considered "boring". Go figure.
Hasn't been like this all season except recent semi. Now into October, cold wet track that's been waterlogged the last few days, still wet - so totally different to normal.

1 hour ago, Nickinho said:I cannot describe this as an exciting meeting. 5 heats staged in 50 minutes and the racing has been processional.
Breaking tapes and re-runs taking up time - to be fair they've got on with it. A bit processional - flooded track the last few days and track still wet what do you expect.

2 hours ago, Nickinho said:Weakest exclusion I've ever seen. Ace can slide off all on his own he doesn't need any pressure put on him to do so
The replays clearly showed Thompson had not passed and in fact took Ace's left leg away. Even Pirates rider Roynon admitted exactly that once he saw the replays.

2 hours ago, foreverblue said:Maybe before you signed Tarasenko
Wasn't talking about Tarasenko. The post I replied to said Rowe will be missed for the Pirates but Vissing won't be missed for the Tigers - ludicrous. Again, that is just false - Vissing has been missed and continues to be missed, at least as much as Rowe, probably more - around Ashfield where Vissing scores well.

1 minute ago, Steve Shovlar said:Vissing won’t be missed at all.
False. He has been a big miss especially at Ashfield.
-
3 minutes ago, Steve Shovlar said:But it’s not and hasn’t been for a long time. We might have finished top but no title for that.
That's the theory but in practice we all know that whoever finishes top of the the league are the true champions. The league table doesn't lie as they say.
-
1 minute ago, foreverblue said:Yes but Tarasenko and Brennan can take a ride, only Zach and reserves for Poole. I don't think Vissing will be missed.
Been shown before that Vissing's r/r rides are below his scoring, especially around Ashfield, so yes he has been a big miss and continues to be.
-
5 minutes ago, Steve Shovlar said:I said from the moment Tarasenko was signed Glasgow were clear favourites for the title.
As far as I'm concerned Pirates already won the title, I've never believed in the playoffs, should be decided on the league table imho.
-
6 minutes ago, Steve Shovlar said:Pirates will be up for it though and will give it their best shot even though we are an important man down.
So are Glasgow. Vissing goes well around Ashfield.

Dearie me, would serve them right if Ace plays a blinder.
