Mildenhall -v- Cradley Off
Aroundtheboards replied to Phil The Ace's topic in National League Speedway
If needs be, yes ! Be it temporary or for good , that would depend on whether or not anyone else would want to take up the promotion. A strong message needs to be sent out to promoters of this mentality that they cannot hold the sport to ransom if things don't go their way !!! As I said in a previous comment Jolly should loose his license to demonstrate that the sport is wagging the tail not the promoters !!! Rules is rules whether you like them or not !!! Get on with it and abide by them !!! PS. I wonder what would have happened if the boot had been on the other foot !!! -

Bottom line is :- JOLLY MUST GO !!! ( I am a Speedway supporter with 50 years experience !!! ) Come on SCB !!! Man up !!! The whole of British Speedway is a joke !!! It needs a dire shake-up !!! To many promoters with no empathy and understanding of the sport and, it appears, not too worried about the financial gain with the way they execute their promotions !!! GIVE THE PUBLIC FAIR ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE FEE THEY PAY !!! Keep personalities out of the equation !!! Evan referees are becoming a joke, inconsistent, one sided and don't know a sprocket from a clutch plate and should have gone to Specsavers !!! -

Brady Kurtz At Plymouth
Aroundtheboards replied to Sherborne Green's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Plymouth are bound to be happy with this signing and why not, who could blame them ? It's Kurtz I question, why oh why sign full time Elite League in the first place he knew he wouldn't get the rides and Poland isn't working out or Denmark. He needed another year at least in the Premier League with the option of doubling up with an Elite side. His knees ain't brown enough yet to sustain a living purely in Elite League and traveling at weekends. He ain't the finished article yet. He needs to mature. Get on with it Brady, know your place !!! Do a job for Plymouth and yourself. But remember, they (Plymouth ) aren't out of the wood yet !!! -

Yes on reflection you're right ! It's one of the things missing from the sport, a bit of theatre, a bit of villainy, and opposing fan banter !! Perhaps it has been so long in absence that I had forgotten how things used to be. Good analysis boys, I stand corrected but as Jenga said get your haircut Lawson and tidy your act up, as Captain, you should lead by example !!! -

I am afraid, In my opinion Lawsons behaviour towards Tungate at the completion of Heat 13 was disgusting and the fact he shook hands with Rohan in the pits means nothing to the supporters who didn't witness that gesture ! He behaved like a spoilt kid who had been deprived of his sweets ! He let Speedway down, Glasgow Tigers and their traveling supporters. He was beaten squarely, fairly and spectacularly and if he can't take it like a man he just as well pack it in. GROW UP LAWSON !!! -
We've got nothing to say because we've had no action !!! Either the washing got wet or the candle blew out !!! But to be fair the bad weather has been sporadic and localised !!! Roll on halfway through the year !!! Which it nearly will be when we get another match !!! By the time we have another match there will be weeds growing on the start line !!!

Still waters run deep !!! It's been bone dry here in Burnham on Sea all day today and yesterday , a bit of rain both nights but nothing to shout about ! I wonder !

I have been to meetings like this where every man jack is invited and it turns out to be nothing but scrum with everyone having their say and no order being kept and all that happens is you go around in circles in danger of disappearing up your own orifice !!! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A STRONG CHAIRMAN and good points are not drowned out in the ensuing mayhem !!! -

Yes, I second that. Perhaps Exeter could use Plymouth Track and some of the riders. What would there be to stop them providing the sums are right !!! -
I was there and I can confirm this. Bradley looked very sharp and in control, very polished riding, but as said laterally the proof will come when he's at the tapes inline with three others !!!
-
Yes, probably !!!
-
Or, - - - - If the dog hadn't stopped to sh*t he would have caught the rabbit !!! Just as well do a few extra miles and watch Swindon as well this year as 45% of Rebels team are doubling up for them and watch some decent speedway!
-
Happy New Year Everyone !!!
-
Some people are never happy and want jam on it !!!
-
This is good news for Lakeside 2016 ! Kelvin has a shed load of experience, is very professional and a complete gent. He has got to be as good as an eighth rider in the pits.
-
Yes ! I did wonder about that myself !!! It's a bit like who put the "T" in Britain = TYPHOO then who put a something in SCUNTHORPE !!! Well I am not sure about that ! I have been a Speedway Supporter since I was 14 in 1965 when I used to go too Swindon with my Dad ! I was also a Shell fisherman off the South Devon Coast for about 10 years from 1975 ! Given that, on average, for the last 50 years I have been to a speedway meeting somewhere like twice a month and given I was at sea every other day for ten years !!! You work it out !!!

WESTLAKEJAWA. I was being ironic !!! Dangling a Sprat to catch a Mackerel if you like ! It appears the bate was taken in your case !!! LOL. I agree, there is no place in our sport or indeed any other for this kind of conduct.

I'm looking forward to his after Chequered Flag/Off the ball antics !!! It'll be nice to have a spirited Aussie in the ranks and as Coomie says , he's just won the Aussie State Title, good Rebel boy you see !!! Bring it on Rohan !!! Did anyone catch our little Zach Waj on the radio ? Unfortunately I missed it
