I have just read through the last 3 to 4 pages of this thread and it has become apparent that you Poole crowd can't even win a match gracefully without carping at each other and generally whinging about what would have happened if the dog hadn't stopped to sh one t. I guess he would have probably caught the rabbit !!! If KK had done this or that and if this that and the other. I reckon if he is in Poland he's better off staying there he obviously hasn't any loyalty to you crowd and who can blame him !!!??? Have a safe visit to the OTA this evening and for god sake cheer up, you won this morning !!!

Lasse and Jake were mixing it in close proximity to each other, it was on the edge of the seat stuff, it happened right in front of me. They were giving no quarter, it was inevitable that it was going to end in tears for one of them and I reiterate, one of the them !!! It could have gone either way, it just so happened it was Lasse got to bite the shale, it could have, quite easily been the other way and Lasse would have been out. That, my friend is speedway. It was a racing incident !!!

Leigh Lanham is one of the nicest blokes to grace our sport. I am about the same age as his dad Mike and I watched him in the 70s, another top bloke ! Enjoy your speedway from the other side of the fence now Leigh and enjoy the time with your family. I was always impressed with the way you were immaculately turned both personally and your equipment, A1. If there is ever an ambassador to the sport and someone for youngsters to look to as a role model, your the man ! I enjoyed you riding for the Rebels and when they let you go I was fuming but you were mature about the whole thing and moved on in that same professional manner that you always have and gave your best to Scunny and Rye. Good luck Leigh Lanham and thanks for the entertainment. Your brother is also in the same mould and I am sure he will be missed around the pits.

Ah well !!! At least Kurtzettes and the Holderettes will be happy !!!! Better tell the track shop to stock loads of "We want Brady" and "We Want Jack" Silk scarves in !!! Thanks for your predictions guys ! Either way I am sure Gazza will give us a good, competitive side. Thing is I've been in a speedway vacuum since 1978 and have only been back watching speedway at the Oaktree for the past three years, I was just getting used to all the changes there have been since 78 and now we have not just gone to a higher level but a new format as well !!! I'm not too familiar with the riding personell that's on offer at this level so it's all a bit daunting for my 1951 brain box !!! Add to that the doubling up and I am all at sea with it !!! . Roll on the new season and I suppose all will become apparent !!!

Has anybody got any calculated ideas or guesses on what our team might be for next season. We know Josh Graj has gone, we also know Zach Waj has moved on.

Don't think he will be with us as he cited traveling as one of the reasons for the move to Tigers. Good luck to Josh and Sheffield for next season he has been a good servant to Rebels. !
