     £2600 - JustGiving
    £1475 - Bonus Ball
    £312.50 - Face Mask profits

  4.  BOSSES MILESTONE

The boys have hit 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣km this weekend! By our reckoning they'd be half way down the A74(M) by now.

Still a long way to go but your donations are helping keep them motivated and we can't thank you enough.

Head to the link below to spur them on

  5. BEARS BEN FUND RUN

It has been a tough year in 2020 for the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund, with a huge drop in donations due to the cancellation of the British Speedway season. The reason for this is most of the Ben Funds income is generated by track collections, with less than £17,000 of the £100,000 annual expenditure raised to date. Redcar Speedway want to make sure that we are doing what we can for them, as we know first hand the amazing work the Ben Fund provides to injured riders and their families.

The Bears three promoters - Jitendra Duffill, Jade Mudgway and Jamie Swales - have decided to take on the challenge of running the distance needed to drive from Edinburgh to Plymouth, the most northerly and southerly based tracks in the UK, by Christmas Day. This is a distance of 780km in 54 days, giving an average of 5km each every day until 25th December. The challenge will start on 1st November, and each run will be recorded on Strava and posted to their Social Media accounts as proof! This is going to be a tough challenge, especially as all three hate running!

A Justgiving page has been setup for donations, with the aim to raise at least £2000. We realise 2020 has been a tough year for everyone so far, but for those of you who can any donation big or small is very much appreciated!

We wish the lads luck in this challenge!

  6. REDCAR REWIND from the archives of Tapes Up Productions: The Bears were bottom of the League table in 2016 when the Glasgow Tigers rolled into town but, as you'll see, gave the Scottish side a real run for their money.  Thanks again to sponsor Paul Routledge.

  8. This week our Redcar rewind takes us back to Tapes Up Productions' 2013 archives and the visit of the Berwick Bandits.  In tricky weather conditions the riders really put on a show.  This Premiere is kindly sponsored by #SaveCoventrySpeedway

  9. Before we make another dive further back into the Tapes Up Productions archives, we return to last season.  Redcar's opening 2019 Championship Shield match sees the visit of the Sheffield Tigers.  The action starts off steady between two evenly-matched sides but warms up nicely with Heats 8, 11 and 14 in particular the ones to watch.  This Premiere is dedicated to the NHS and our key workers.

  10. In our latest Redcar Rewind we delve back into the Tapes Up Productions archives to 2012 for the visit to Teesside of the Edinburgh Monarchs.  In the absence of injured captain Gary Havelock, the Bears aimed to break a month-long losing streak, while the Scottish side included the likes of Craig Cook and Charles Wright and had high hopes of furthering their Play-Off aspirations.  With thanks to #savecoventryspeedway
