You really should do a little research before you go criticising the club for not informing people of Robbo's condition. This was posted on the Rebels website a WHOLE DAY before your post on here, which is quoted above........... "The later news on Stuart Robson was that he was discharged from hospital that same night with no injuries, though he has since contacted Somerset team manager Garry May and said that he has a degree of whiplash and concussion but hopes to be back racing for Newcastle later this week". Here is the report it is taken from and that took me just 30 seconds to find after I had read your post..........easy really if you open your eyes, or is that you didn't want to see and were just looking for an excuse to have a pop.

How do you know he doesn't ? It's the team managers decision who he nominates for Heat 15, and with the last four home meetings not being close, he's been able to put in others who qualified for the heat. With Brady being the only one who didn't take at least a point from those races, who can say he was wrong, not me. In the home meeting previous to those four, against Plymouth, when the score was tight, he rode H15, and the one before that he crashed and had to withdraw from the meeting. Against Newcastle he had bike problems all night, retiring from his last ride and only scoring 5-points. Away from home in the challenge at Plymouth the two top scorers rode, with Ollie being the third highest, he rode in H15 in LC match at Peterborough, and was the only Rebel to scores a point, at Ipswich he rode H15 and fell, at Newcastle he was ill, and didn't ride in the meeting, because of his crash at home against Peterborough we ran R/R in the next two away meetings, at Plymouth he had a bad night, and didn't complete a race, and was replaced in his last ride, so he would never have been put in H15 under the circumstances, at Redcar another poor night, meant others were put in, and at Workington in the KO Cup match, where we needed to keep the scores tight, he rode H15 and fell. Given all that, there is nothing in there that tells me he doesn't want to ride Heat 15, more likely he wasn't able to ride, or the team managers decision was that he didn't ride.

O.S.S., In a situation such as last nights encounter it's my belief that another good measure of a teams superiority is the number of last places, or more to the point, lack of them, they run..............I think in this area, Rebels 2 and Comets 13 also tells its own story

You're wasting your time Nick, it's no good asking him a question he can't answer, as his time is all taken up by posting negative comments about certain members of the team all the time. I wouldn't mind if he did it from a position of actually being there half the time. If he had, he would not have made the stupid comment about the heat leaders being disappointing at Derwent Park, as he would have seen what actually happened. He even suggested that Ollie was on borrowed time, and that there could be a rider change................Mind you I didn't see any comments about Ollie's performance the following night, when he top scored with 11+1. I wonder why that was?

Why would you think I was blaming the BSPA ?. I was just asking the question for two reasons 1. Because the Visa rules seem pretty straight forwards and easy to understand to me. I was just reading through the Visa and Immigration rule, and if these are applied correctly by the Home Office, then the fault must lie elsewhere. Where would you suggest that is in the two cases I commented on above? 2. Because we are dealing with an organisations that appears not to know its own rules, in the Proctor/Sheffield case, therefore why would you expect anything it says on Visa rules to be 100% So there you go, no leaked information involved here, could the same be said for you?

It may have something to do with repositioning the start/finish line to the same location, as last year they were separated. The start line was nearer to the last turn, and the finish line nearer to the first bend, as I recall. When I came for the Somerset match I thought it actually looked bigger with the air fence in place. Mind you I only see it a small number of times a year when the Rebels visit.

Certainly not with you SK, as normally you take a more considered view, but there are some people in particular, who only ever post on Somerset threads in a vitriolic and negative manner, which does tend to ruffle the nasal hairs of some of our supporters I'm fairly sure it wasn't done on a whim, but was a considered and well thought out decision. The original decision to let Nick Morris go was taken because of the large number of meetings he would potentially miss, as his intention was apparently to run in the World U21 individual Championship, and his absence would have only been covered by RR, as we still had Jason Doyle in the team at this point. Doyley's visa issues looked like being sorted in Somerset's favour at that time, with no problems about him doubling up. Since then Nick has decided that he now won't go for the U21's, thus drastically reducing the number of meetings he will miss to a more manageable level, and not too far from the number that Ty would have missed. This is probably also a possible factor in the Promotion's decision to let Ty go. In 2011 Travis McGowan came in on a 9.09 average, from his previous season with Glasgow, and didn't fire at all, but the very same promotion, who are now being vilified, stuck with him. By the time they had decided that things were not improving, and he was released, his rolling average was down to 7.49, whilst his actual average for the season was down to a woeful 6.64, leaving them with a bit of a problem to find a replacement for a rider that had started the season as the out and out No 1 So with Ty's early season form being a long way off what was expected, maybe they felt that it was a case of 'once bitten twice shy'
