    King's Lynn Stars 2017

If Richie Worrall is being released by Poole then I would hope Lynn have offered him a place in the team for with Holder or Bratchelor. A committed British rider with good potential. Two other orders we should be looking to bring back are Mads and Sczepaniak.
  2. I clearly did not say that. Please re read my post 👍

After Swindon's win tonight the Stars need a good run in the second half of the season to qualify for the play offs. If they can do it who do you think will lose their place in the current top 4?

Entitled to your opinion and respect that. Was proud of the what we achieved as a club whislt I was there and what I have achieved since I left. I can assure you that the knife is not out, and those that know me rather than know of me will know I have the club at heart because it existed in my family long before Buster took it over.

Not for Buster, but certainly for the memory of my great grandfather, Morris Littlechild, and the stars fans I would actually be prepared to roll my sleeves up and work on a completely professional basis alongside Buster to get the club back on track. I have a couple of days a week I can afford to gift to the club for the next month at least. However getting Buster to accept any help, especially from me, may be more of a challenge....
  6. See post above, my gut is telling me more than this than meets the eye and this tweet certainly seems to suggest that.
  7. I never know if you are trying to shift the blame away from the club intentionally or unintentionally. In no way should supporters be blamed for his decision to quit. Fact is Gavin has integrity and respect, and unfortunately he feels it was compromised on more than one occasion by the club.... NOT the supporters. The fact supporters released their desperate frustrations on him says more about the way they have been treated. In all my years at the club the one thing I never had to worry about was that, I would in fact say they were the most respectfully and happy set of fans I had the pleasure in ever meeting.
  8. If that's the case then a wasted opportunity to get a meeting on and re engage with the fans and explain where the club currently stands. My gut tells me there is more to this than meets the eye, who knows if some of the other team members were refusing to ride because of last week's events and holders ban. Maybe Rob has resigned and there is no team manager to replace Dale. Whatever the reason it pains me to say but Rye House have a strong case in claiming for the points to be awarded to them. Whilst Lynn have cancelled on sunny days in the past, it seemed at least they always had a reason, such as a power failure. However it now seems they don't even need to find a reason... If the SCB do not follow this up with an enquiry and publish their findings then the WHOLE sport has lost whatever credibility it had remaining and we will see a quicker demise than anyone expected. I feel totally gutted, things have certainly gone from bad to worse in the sport in the past 12 months and i would expect supporters and sponsors from up and down the country to soon wash their hands completely. Every club should be very afraid of what has happened here over the past week.
  9. Just checked weather on my phone and says kings Lynn is still dry and hot and not expecting any rain until tomorrow. Can anyone local confirm what the weather is like at present?
  10. Nice try Semion, not sure that has anything to do with transperency when clearly that is a personal issue and Batchelor not riding is a public one

And the catch is you have to go to speedway on Wednesday and buy a programme to read what he has to say, genius way of getting the fans to return
  12. Wouldn't it be great if Kai or the club put out a simple tweet or update via facebook.... I really can not understand what the problem is and why everything seems to be such a big secret?
  13. Plus Team manager? Announcer/presenter? Co promoter?

    King's Lynn Stars 2017

That would be a blessing 👍
  15. I only have a problem with him because he only cares about himself and does not a give a **** about his kings Lynn team mates. Whatever he scores is at a detriment to his team mates. Someone like mads may not score as many but his respect and belief in his team mates will ensure he adds a lot more points on to everyone else's results.
  16. One problem Bratchelor is still in the team so certainly not one that is going to give 100%. The fans have had no news from him or club as to why he packed his bikes, buggered off during the meeting and made a miraculous recovery for a meeting at Swindon the following night. Don't defend the indefensible.

If Rob was there at the start it baffles me as to why he didn't take over from Dale, and communicate with the announcer (Gavin) what was happening and how long proceedings would be held up. I am no longer part of the set up but still feel really annoyed at what a pigs ear was made of this situation. Whilst I have the up most respect for Rob, I think that to retain his credibility he needs to explain to the fans why he didn't do this and make clear what his role is at the club going forward.

Something I would love to know is where Rob Lyon has been during all of this. He is officially a promoter alongside Buster. So was he even at this meeting or is he just a promoter to appease the BSPA rules?
  19. So guess Bratchelor is still riding. Let's hope a club statement is forthcoming on that and also Holders suspension.
  20. See above, I have added 2 words you missed out. Whilst Newcastle may be doing a good job in keeping their fans informed there are unfortunately many clubs who still like to treat fans like Mushrooms.
  21. The only thing that has kept the mess going is the lump of money from sky, and as they say a phoenix will often rise from the ashes.
  22. Are you sure about that, isn't he the main sponsor of Troy Batchelor? You know the whining Aussie who got injured on wednesday and has been a pain in the backside for many a year at kings Lynn? I believe most sponsors in speedway do not sponsor for a ROI, they simply sponsor because they are fans who love the sport and are fortunate to have the money to do it. Therefore the amount of fans is irrelevant, however I do know they like to see their company name on TV and in news papers (often for personal gratification) so without fans will TV or the press want to show/report on speedway. As I have said on another thread, speedway in my opinion is a pack of cards and it won't be long before one puff blows the whole lot down.... And that may be at the end of this season if no TV money is forthcoming for 2018.
  23. If true it opens up the question as to why: a)Management can not find any replacements this late in season b)Sponsors intervened to stop the riders getting sacked (I believe fork rent is Chris's main sponsor as well as the clubs) c)There is more to the story as to why the last meeting imploded and an agreement has been reached to never talk about it in public as long as their team places remain open. d)Another reason Whatever it is I would expect the fans are owed nothing less than a full and public explanation prior to Wednesdays meeting so they have time to make a fair and balanced decision of whether to attend and continue to give their support. Simply telling fans to support their club or lose it does not cut the mustard, it would be the equivalent of emotional blackmail and nothing less.
  24. If you do not like what I have to say then please put me on ignore, however be be assured your comments will not stop me posting my opinions on an open forum.
  25. Well let's all turn a blind eye because you want your world to carry on under a false pretence. Hope you reassess your attitude and realise that speedway in this country is on life support and anyone looking to spend money on the sport should be aware of what bumps may lay in the road ahead.
