  1. And if only your team were in a position to choke it.

    That would make a change.

Difference is we dont spend the kind of money you do (Which I havent got a problem with, if you have it spend it) but my point is coz we dont pay big money we dont expect to be winning the league every year, we take seasons like this year and finishing 5th as a positive, you finished 4th and it is seen as a failure to most considering the money you spent compared to us, at the start of the season a lot of people were saying Glasgow were looking strong, they could clean up and win it all, not many people expected redcar to do aswell as we did

  2. not so smug now eh

6 still aint soo bad I guess, ill take that since I aint even a Glasgow fan, know more about your team that I do about my own Redcar, thought JPB was going berwick, ohh well, decent team, lets see if they can actually get a trophy this time or if they choke it like usual

  3.

Wasnt that the night of the near fog off, think i saw some videos of Robs rides that night.

Rob will be riding elsewhere in 2018.

Hasnt rob retired, sold up and gone back to Australia? Sure he done that mid way through this season

  4.

Are you actually saying Peterborough dont pay signing on fees?

Im only going by what rathbone said on his Facebook live post about the Peterborough team reveals and he said he doesnt give riders a signing on fee but how much of that is true I dont know, but if lunnas demands were too high for Glasgow, no way would Peterborough afford it, that was the point Im making

  5. Did he not have a major injury at the beginning of last season, spent most of season out, came back a little too early. To be fair I spoke to someone in Czech Fed last week, he said not really anything coming through at the moment, but a few coming through the ranks

Im not sure on his injuries, if he signed i reckon he could hold his own once he settles in, if he was on a 6 point average Id probably have him, but Im sure he is over 7 and thats too much of a risk imo as he would be a heat leader, dont think he is ready for that yet, would be good to see him back in UK though

  6.

Thats a very good point, the points limit is the same for all, i hear of Glasgow paying £100 a point etc for 8.5 rider, but a im not sure i believe it,seems they told Luna to stick it due to his demands,so it not all pounds pounds pounds

Other other point is there seems to be an awfull disease in the UK these days where folk get pished off about others earing money or being successfull,i just dont get it or understand where it came from, never really used to be the case

What ever happened to the point of admiring success and being happy for people, was it the banking crisis or that Loon Corbyn stiring up hate against the successfull, who knows, but it not nice

Glasgow didnt say no to lunna because of his demands, if lunna had priced himself out of Glasgow then no way would Peterborough be able to afford him, they dont even pay riders a signing on fee, maybe lunna didnt want the constant pressure from the Glasgow management about the trophy wins and them relying on him every meeting or Glasgow didnt want him because of how injury prone he is, maybe it was a mutual agreement

  7. Kus has gone downhill imo, nice lad, but suffers too many bike failures, I was at an German international meeting this season and Kus scored 1 or 2 points and didnt make it out of the group stages, he was getting beat off riders Ive never heard of, 1 that I remember was facundo albin, Jonas B Andersen got to the finals against bjarne pedersen and Antonio Lindback, and missed out, was fast all night, could he be worth a shot on 6.48 and bring in his brother Mikkel?

  8. I can't help thinking there is no difference in standard between the two divisions!

Nick Morris at No1 for Swindon...and No1 for Lakeside...and the comparisons go on!

Lawson was number 1 at Glasgow and Swindon last year,

Cook was number 1 at Workington and was .03 to being number 1 at Belle Vue so its nothing new, the weird one for me is chris Harris, was number 1 at rye house in top league but couldnt keep the number 1 spot for Peterborough and lost it to Jack Holder who had a lower average than him in the top league, as said above though differences in the leagues are the reserves, there are 6/7 pointers in the championship that are reserves in the top league

  9. Don't think any rider will sign for another club till Glasgow name their full squad " just in case"'!!!!

So why has barker signed for redcar, lasse signed for sheffield, Morley signed for lakeside, Ipswich have signed all 7, Scunthorpe signed 6 and Peterborough signed 4?

  10. By choosing a number 7 this way they may not get the strongest as hell be snapped up. But theyll definitely get one willing to ride for the Scorpions and he will have plenty of EWR laps to hit the ground running.

Edinburgh done the same thing when they signed bewley and look how good he got, it can work at times

  11. Gino 😉

It says not currently associated with a British club, Ipswich own Gino so wont be him, this will be a new rider to UK so we will get him as an asset, my guess is Mikkel on a 7 point average to partner with Jonas at number 3/4 or a young Aussie if we manage to get this sponsors licence sorted soon

  12. Williamson Proctor or Bickley.

    How about:

    Wells

    Williamson

    Proctor

    Jorgensen

    Bewley

    Bickley

    Aarnio

Probably over the points limit but decent side,

Cant see wells going back to the comets, he will be at Edinburgh, same with TJ, dont think he is riding this league next season, concentrating on top league, Poland and Denmark

  13. Not EVERYONE can ride for Glasgow :P One things for certain, Kerr is going to a new team, and you never know, if Glasgow have Richie, Harris, Lunna, Bewley can they fit Kerr in too? I dunno I've not done the maths

Bewley will be back at Edinburgh or at Workington, seems to be Starke and Kerr at 3/4 for Glasgow next season
