Would strongly disagree. Aussies have kept our sport alive in this country, if you turn down the aussies the sport dies here.

One argument which is certainly valid is that Aussie riders have been better in British speedway especially in the Prem/Elite league that Aussies have simply been better. Lambert and Cook were 7.81 and 7.78 respectively With king in 3rd on 6.83 Doyle, batch and Fricke all higher than those 3. With Brady, Holder, Josh and masters all higher than King. Also NKI, Bjeere, Jensen, Klindt and Thorsell being higher than King. So of the top 15 riders in the prem 3 were brits. (thats where the issues lie).

Also regards Brits. 3 clubs have more brits than poole. 2 has equal 5 have less

Thats exactly my point they did great for us 5 years ago now and they haven't progressed at all. Yes injuries, but you can't wait around for injuries. Ellis and wright have progressed to that number 1 level spot while kyle and starke arent even heatleaders or if so are the 3rd one.

I think this goes for a lot of clubs not just poole. I think they are nervous. Look at the EDR. Which riders were really a success from it. Ellis and Wright. Think you would struggle to say the Worralls have had the success we all though. garrity, Newman, starke, Sarge, Rose. Have not kicked on to the next level or retired. Also poole now have 2 assets and they do succeed they see the benefit with loans etc. It’s still a business.

So Stewart just got beaten by 3 x4 point riders. Ben Cook was better than his brother a year ago. Just have to wait and see. Zane got the nod from Crump. When crump gives someone the nod I’ll listen to crump.

The future belongs to the Poles and Danes. Danes have plenty of talent. Fred Jakobsen, Birkenmouse(he just signed a 5 year deal with Gorzow), . Jesper Knudsen(15). Those 2 might be the dominant Force in speedway for 10 years.

The same one who also lost in other meetings when he wasn’t injured.

You do have to remember that majority of the time a reserve just needs to beat his opposite number.

Just the two who have beaten Jordan Stewart this aussie season. Also, Jason Doyle had very little pedigree. Turned out ok. Charles Wright, Craig Cook very little pedigree at a young age and they turned out ok as well. Don't look all on pedigree. They have talent and hopefully be given time.

I would be getting them in middlo testimonial. At least for some laps and get them tuned in sooner rather later.

Why not? It protects the local fanbase and then allows people from further a distance to watch. I’m sure for away meetings if they stream them anyone will be able to watch.

Not sure. But the club has protect its self over a few people being ill and not able to make to stadium imo. Great move by Edinburgh.

Rew will be a great rider. I would give him a year though. He had a nasty break in his leg very similar to Bewley and I think for him having a year on tracks where you don't need to turn as much and not bumpy will do him a year of good. I spoke to him recently and he is keen to be a pirate so maybe things will develop and could always be an option later in the year if injuires occur. List was given no time and he has a lot of potential coming 3rd behind Jaimon and Z Cook is no mean feat considering they are 3 years older than him. I think you will see a competition between List, Gilmore, Rew and Hook for the u21 Aus champs in the coming years.
