And that's reduced rates...
Still "not bad" is it?
Kurtz earned 120K for leszno last year and made 30k profit if that translates. So might be only taking 50ish home a point. 1 meeting a week not making that much.

Im going to hedge my bets and say Chris Holder.
Brother is present, TruPlant big holder sponsor, Poole asset so I'm sure Ford will say no worries to replace Josh G.
Too many ticks to not be him.

Good to see the boys on a pre season tour to France.

Hardly anyone you gave them all to Poole.
You are paying us for NKI.

I mean did he pretty well for his first year in the extraliga. Can't ask for much more.

Anders Thomsen?
Thomsen is too good now. Would cost about the same as NKI now(he is close to that wage in Poland, Very close)

11 hours ago, The Cheese said:He averaged over 6 in Somerset's last PL season and again for Peterborough last year until his injury so he's clearly capable of more in the CL. I don't see much difference between him and Jake Allen tbh, last season together at Somerset in 2018 BWD averaged slightly higher, last season Allen similarly slightly higher.
Still has never done it in the champ.

For saying which rider is better. You just quoted something and changed the subject.

9 hours ago, The Cheese said:Disappointing for BWD, no doubt that if he could have a good run of staying fit he's capable of averaging 8+, he just doesn't seem to have that luck.
Even more difficult to fit him in next year because that average will be well above 9 with the conversion rate.
Have to disagree. Has only ever average 6 in the champ. Hasn’t really proven to be an 8 point rider.
Also staying fit is a key component of being a sport men’s. Don’t really ever see why it’s brought up. The best riders stay fit.

Becker has also signed in Poland. Or maybe not?
Also has a spot in Denmark.
I wonder if a better choice might be getting rid of Stoneman and then using 10 points on 2 riders rather than having to find an 8 pointer.
could go Greaves and Zach W if you can tempt him back.

It’s not his wages.
It’s the money you have to pay Wroclaw in case he gets injured. It’s around £40k.
Woryna is £30k why poole could not bring him back last year. And why no poles really ride over here. Compensation package is crazy.

4 of them said they wont race here.

He has averaged over 7.3 since 2014. Thats pretty good for success and bar 2014 and 2019 he has been closer to 8.5.
I think thats pretty good really.

King and Worrall arent going to get any better but Ellis is and i would expect Adam to have the highest average
The bottom end is hugely risky but could pay off
At the moment Poole look like a mid table side at best..............but the gambles may pay off and we know they will make changes if not
I think worrall will easily put a point on. Considering he has been a 9-8.25 rider for his whole career bar last year.

Sullivan and Crump. Poole's bank account will be full again.

I’ll take the view of Danny King who rode with both of them and picked them.
rider over fan every day.

1 hour ago, The Third Man said:based on watching them both last season Kennedy looks the better prospect to me
speedway is a sport where stats don’t lie I’m afraid. Until josh went to 2 he was 0.5 point ahead.

37 minutes ago, The Third Man said:MacDonald looked a lot better prospect in his first season with Sheffield, and his first season in England than Greaves did when he rode for Sheffield.
so if I had to choose I would go for him on a four leaving an extra 0.61 points available for the rest of the team, because he looks a much better prospect
I would actually have gone for Kennedy over MacDonald
Macdonald was far better than Kennedy really. Just went up to 2 and struggled in a few meetings.

I’ve just flicked through the Sheffield green sheets on the BSPA site and it looks like MacDonald stayed at reserve on his 4 point assessed average all season.
Hang on, he did get up to 4.36 in GSA issue 31 at the end of August, then fell back below 4 by the end of September.
rode at 2 for a number of meetings.

Don't blame poole we are above the average in the league.

7 minutes ago, DC2 said:Greaves started 2019 on 3.99 and finished on 4.61.
MacDonald started on 4 and finished under 4.
Which is more deserving of a CL place?
he was quite along way above 4 then went to the 2 spot and dropped.
-
6 minutes ago, DC2 said:Doyle from the outset was way above the new Aussies in the CL.
He was never a 4 point CL rider like Josh MacDonald!
Didn’t he top the IOW averages and then go straight into the Poole team as a 5 point EL rider?
Happy for Aussies (and all foreigners) to come over on minimum 5 point averages.
4 is too low and hampers the development of young Brits.
Then was poor, yes he had injuries. Then got dropped and flew himself over and luckily got a team place after and injury at Poole.
Was pretty average until he went to Leicester.

13 minutes ago, Sidney the robin said:Yes certainly the top class ones but it should not be a training ground for the average one.
Jason Doyle was very average for many a year.
A lot of average Aus riders do a lot in the UK, Allen, Heeps, Masters, Josh G, Batch (would argue he has been average for being a GP rider overall). Holder and Kurtz need to kick on this year or probs falling into the category.

With a bit of work and money don’t get me wrong.
Revert track back to the old style on the outside.
training events at Poole. Of course after the school have finished.
would enable Poole town to move back in.
It would be a big area again.
Concert venue in the stadium would be helpful. Poole doesn’t have one.
with the use of the big area. You have options for car boot sales, drive in cinema.
im sure some people could use the space.
