All Mr.Summers has to do is score at least 1 point against Swindon and we'd be a stronger team for it.
Onwards and upwards because we certainly can't go any further downwards.

Having witnessed first-hand our now infamous drubbing last week by those Hammers of Lakeside, I can only see us on the end of another right spanking courtesy of the Aces tomorrow.
Especially when not very track specialist Mr.Zagar isn't in attendance.
Sincerely hope though the lads prove me wrong and put up a fight!
It's all we can ask for.

It would appear the Belle Vue promotion have called this meeting off as they are running scared at the prospect of facing a full strength Lions side.
Obvious really.

And they both were picked to ride in heat 15. Seriously

Wow!! That was 18 quid well spent. At least to view the dedication & professional attitude of the Lakeside team anyway

Any Lions fan care to comment on Walasek's performance?
One could predict with utmost certainty Mr.Walasek is not exactly a fan of the Arena track

Would love to believe that numbers 2,3,4 & 5 for the lions can't perform any worse than last night. Think it could go down to the wire

Okay, well I apologise for any offence caused. I just come here to talk with other people that also enjoy speedway, but I'm starting to get a bit disillusioned with the idea as I just come in for unnecessary stick from yourself. I don't post anything here to upset anyone, so if it continues to irk you that I feel I have the right to an opinion then I can only apologise.
Can't see myself anything you need to apologise for. Don't be disillusioned young man

Having seen the irritatingly smiley man on the BBC weather an hour ago, think the rain might be the winner here.
Or a heavy, wet track could level the playing field.
Would at the very least predict Josh Bates will fall off at some point.

Yep. When it comes to the last 3 big heats I fear the Lions might always be found to be wanting. But at the very least we were competitive most of the meeting with our excellent reserve pairing.
Coventry well worth the win. And their stadium announcers are way better than ours too methinks.

Indeed. Phil Herne will probably still only score 3+1 though if he's on song

Just back from the pub with big beer goggles on, can see a comfy win for the Lions with Les Collins going through the card...hang on what year is it?

Jason Doyle rides at No.1 for Sheffield tomorrow night against the Lions....now you couldn't make that up

I'll take that previous post back. The Lions homepage is now festooned with action shots of this years riders in shiny new kevlars. Marvellous. Maybe somebody in the admin department does indeed scan these pages
-
Website could be a little better though. Last seasons riders still going round on the homepage. You could be forgiven thinking Jason Doyle is still riding for us..

Crikey. What a day! We've decided to alter our bronze medal winning track, not before time, and signed a speedway rider for our team. Way too much excitement for one day
