Love to see Wozza ride again for the Lions one day. Was good to watch. But for this coming season it’ll probably be Richie

1 hour ago, BTFC LION said:Good evening, am posting this with the blessing of the gaffer,
The reason for the back straight and turn two get churned up with tractor tyres is as follows, we have take 80 to 100 thousand ltrs of water off the track and from the drains over the past week or so, the only way of doing this is by tractor and water bowser, which only holds 4 thousand ltrs at a time, so you can work out how many trips that takes, the only place we can put this water is outside of the stadium, our only exit from the track is along the back straight and turn 2 through the pits, we have no choice, can't leave water on the track, can't get it off without causing some damage to the track.
We will do our best to get this meeting on.
I have worked on that track for nearly 6 years now, have worked with the best track curators there are ,
So I find it disgusting by someone on here claiming I did something to the track which caused SD to end up in hospital.
That 1 post has upset me big time.
Thanks for coming on here & giving us all a genuine insight as to the difficulties faced in the last week. Those of us that live locally know just how much rain has fallen, how little chance there has been for any drying of the track to take place.
Appreciate all your efforts & hope we can have some racing tomorrow night

Poole to win 54-36 at home and run us very close at Beaumont Park. If it ever stops raining in Leicestershire anyways

Don’t disagree with your view but shooting him sounds a tad harsh

Damien Bates promotes Sheffield. Leicester is promoted by Marc Bates & Stewart Dickson

It truly stunned the crowd and we all watched in real surprise as he put 4 faultless laps together in the 6th fastest time of the night. Kyle wasn't covering his back or holding up Bomber. In fact the three were quite spread out by the end of the race.
I've had my own doubts about this signing. But credit, where credit is due.
Totally agree. Thats exactly how we saw it. Great ride & deserved the win.

Sam Masters not fit for Wolves tomorrow night so could be a doubt for Saturday?

Max 1 - Clegg
Max 2 - Perry
Max 3 - James
Who will be next?
Hope Max 1 is better at keeping his front wheel on the track than he was back in 2014
Bygraves? Is he still with us?

I’d be relatively pleased if we get a point

Well we’d all like a bigger one, wouldn’t we?

Plymouth will be a very difficult team for anyone to beat over 2 legs at the business end of the season. Strong team

No we don’t

Don’t log on to this forum much these days. Is 4 consecutive posts by 1 poster a record?

Good meeting. Some good racing. Lions controlled the meeting relatively well. Perhaps we were a little fortunate in both the re runs as we’d missed the gate, but a good win overall . Excellent heat 13. Great heat 14!

Have you applied the British reduction to those figures?
