Douglas has signed for a Polish team, so he may, or may not fancy the overnight dash to Poland to ride on Sunday afternoon. Talk of Nick Morris doing likewise also

Which believe me tacks a hell of a long time to put right again.
Fair enough. Can’t pretend for a minute I know the first thing bout track prep. Was concerned we wouldn’t actually get finished before the curfew though!

All 4 of them giving it everything for 4 lapsSomewhat of a long night. Way too much tractor racing. But the final race was the best I’ve seen all season

Enjoyed our visit. Excellent track. Good, fast , close racing, wish Leicester’s circuit would produce more of that but hey-ho.
Did chuckle when the announcer said Hans Nielsen was riding in white for the lions in heat 13.
Maybe we’ll meet again in the play-offs

5 minutes ago, Tosh1218 said:There is parking on site £1 charge ,should be plenty of spaces and two turnstiles in operation one for pre bought tickets and one for cash . Allow yourself plenty of time as our promotion run to start time as usual , i know recently there was Redcar fans still coming in after the first race . Snacks and drinks available in the ground entrance is a one way system in and out from the 2nd bend ,viewing is allowed all around the track ,hope this helps
Thanks very much. Looking forward to it

Decided to travel up for this one. First time visit to Scunny. Any tips/advice about parking ( is it just a main car park?) would be greatly appreciated.

You certainly can

When I was a Promoter I always insisted that the riders didn't put their helmet on until they'd been introduced.
Helmets not worn on parade lap at Leicester.

Easier win for the Lions tonight than I expected. All the lads looked sharper & more determined. Solid scoring right through the team for the first time this season. Off night for Aarnio, Jorgensen & Palin cost Scunthorpe any hope of a point.

It’s 38.00 for you guys

Josh Bates was interviewed on the centre green after Leicester’s match yesterday and described them as “sh*t”

Indeed. I’m guessing they’ll need a good supply of Tiger Balm or Fiery Jack too

It was an item on the speedway GP website. He’s earning good money working down the mines in Aussie and was considering giving all speedway a miss this year

Recent articles suggest he feels he would be better off financially, staying in Australia for the rest of the year.

Bigger crowds came to earlier starts in 2019 & it’s better for families too. Might also save a few quid on the leccy bill I guess

New start time of 7pm for meetings this season

35 minutes ago, Big Al said:Is it the promotion who are responsible for this, or is it the landlord (Hemsley)?
Either way, it needs sorting out, as does the track lighting.
Anyone know if Mr.Hemsley is still the landlord? His company Leicester Speedway Limited was dissolved back in the summer

For me, if Wolves go with a team two points below the limit there is no chance for you Wolves fans that next year you will get back to where you once belonged....
But on the positive side, it at least looks like none of your team will have visa problems so all of them should have a ticket to ride..
I'll get me coat. ..
Unless Hancock turns out to be the big surprise signing I see no signs of a Revolution in the Wolves side for next year.
However A day in the Life of your average Wolves fan may not be all gloom, with a shrewd signing or two a nice side may just Come Together after all.
Already got my coat

Leicester vs Glasgow 23/04 7pm
in SGB Championship League Speedway

Howarth strongest rider at home this season so far. Think losing him probably means Glasgow will nick it. Morris will have to be at his very best. Should be a good one though, looking forward to it
