It has to be him. Fingers crossed he’s as good as last time. Probably Kyle Howarth for the home leg, or perhaps Bomber.

If it's to be a guest at Eastbourne on Saturday, is Broc Nicol worth a punt??
Stewart Dickson at the Cubs meeting tonight. He said our guest at Eastbourne on Saturday is someone who’s riding the night before. Didn’t say specifically who though.

No Ryan Mac again? Assuming work time off issues although didnt think rules allowed that this year?
He was officially replaced in the side a couple of weeks ago by Josh Embleton

Many thanks to all the advice given to me about visiting the stadium. Enjoyed the evening. Great cut-back pass by Nicholls on Ellis in heat 6. Crazy brilliant outside pass by Garrity on Douglas in heat 13 was superb. Thought the track walk was a nice idea too. Is that a regular thing? Good turnout of Lions fans. Hope the remainder of the season brings you some better luck & better results

Cheers for that

Hoping to come over for this. Never been to Perry Barr before. Any advice on good places to park would be greatly appreciated.

I know it’s John Titman

1 hour ago, Gemini said:Sorry but that is not true. Read False dawn's post for an accurate description. Josh started his 'move' on the back straight and entered the third bend going way too fast. It was obvious there was no way he would get round and he was already out of control. I doubt if Nicol locked up either when he got collected by Josh. Just downright irresponsible riding so harsh or not it's the truth.
Spot on. Don’t think I’ve ever seen any rider go into the third bend carrying that much speed. Not really sure what he was trying to achieve so early on in the race either.

I ain’t the foggiest about regulations but it says on Leicester’s Twitter feed he’ll be riding in all 3 leagues.
Which this being British Speedway probably means he actually can’t.

Says he’ll be back for our next meeting which is good news.

Interestingly it says a new date for the championship fixture is also to be postponed

Scunthorpes faithfull who are used to seeing a lot of passing week in week out will have seen it as a processional meeting, whereas those used to the FTG Leicester stuff will have seen a much better meeting than usual. I guess it depends what you are used to. It was a better than usual meeting at Leicester and provided more entertainment than usual, but it certainly wasn't like what was served up the night before.
Spot on. It wasn’t bad, wasn’t that great either. An improvement on the previous week.

Think Sheffield in a couple of weeks will be a much closer match. Happy enough with what I’ve seen so far, definite improvement in the track last night. Enjoyed the new style parade too. A season of winning most home meetings is something we’ve lacked for so long. Fingers crossed.

I agree, big average though. Doesn’t leave much to play with

A “brand new signing” to be unveiled Thursday morning. Who can it be?

All is not lost. This apparently is semi final 1. 4 more names to follow next week for voting in semi final 2. Ahem
