Have you ever worked somewhere where the people talk continuously about it closing, eventually after several years, even tens of years the place closes.
It's called a self fulfilling prophecy.
This thread is a bit like that.
Why don't those people find something else to do.....

The trotting track is up for sale i believe, complete with a house.
-
After seeing the team and how well they all did, could replacement be enough.
Bearing in mind that Jake had issues in his first couple and so will score more next time, Danny and Gino will get up to speed, Stephan, Jason and Josh were unbeaten.
-
April 1st should see a big crowd.
-
All the access points will have to be modified to suit the disabled tape persons, the shale will have to be removed to prevent a slip trip hazard too.

Yes that is a weakness, let's hope the six can do the job and number 7 can settle in and get some good experience.
-
Can't see a weak link in the team at all.
Of course number 7 might put themselves under pressure to step up.
-
Sorry i thought he was being specific, as in no choice, I would be going to see the riders riding the track anyway and not eating or drinking, yes it is looking positive for the Scorpions and the EWR this year, looking forward to April 1st.
I'll see you there, anonymously of course, I don't know what any of the posters on here look like.

I might not want Curry and chips and i don't drink alcohol so that would keep me away.

It's going to be a long winter...........
How many random names can be suggested before the official one.
Doug Rankin
David Roberts
Alan Grainger

why isn't it that touching the tapes is the only indicator that somebody jumped the start, surely that was the intention of having tapes in the beginning, anticipating the start is part of the riders skill and should be allowed.

Speedway next year will attract a whole new audience because promoters will spend more time and money advertising it.....
That is what I would like to see.

Irrelevant, nothing to do with the thread.True. I keep away from doctors whenever possible and have managed to avoid any physio by keeping a low profile. I did need a 12 month review for my blood pressure medication though and have had to wait 5 weeks for an appointment. Going this afternoon so must keep relaxed and not read any irritating posts on here.
Back to the subject......
Not all illness is physical, people under pressure can suffer from other debilitating illnesses, the effects of which can change from day to day.

I hope he takes no notice of the things written on here.

People change as they get older, there are a lot of young men involved in the sport, they are still learning how to interact with the world, of course most of the posters on here are fully developed people with no character traits....
As can be seen above and below.

opinion, what a great thing, I'm sure Rob Godfrey can form his own.
Hope Berge is at home with the Scorpions if he is part of next years team.
-
Who said Sheffield want to go up?
-
Down.
-
Similar to football fans, a lot of armchair managers on here.
-
Doesn't matter what happens, if you like watching Speedway it'll be great, if you have allegiance to a particular vest and don't like any other then that could rather restrict your tv speedway viewing schedule.
-
You could ad Newcastle to the defunct website now if you like, it means nothing anyway,Newcastle will still be up and running.
-
Enjoyed watching the people in tigers uniform getting beat, unfortunately teams don't exist these days, just a group of riders in the same vests, the people in Lions vests rode very well.
Looking forward to a similar thing happening next monday.
