  1. I'm relatively new to watching speedway, i'm 53 years old.

Between the ages of about 10 and 50 speedway didn't exist it was something that used to be on the telly.

    Part of the problem

Promoters don't promote, I have never seen or heard any advert for league speedway in a public place EVER.

Teams are not teams, riders appear all over the leagues for any team that will pay them to "guest", can you imagine that in football.

So Klindt guests for Liecester last week and Rides for Poole this week at Liecester, I don't want to pay to see that, it's an absolute joke and insult to my intelligence.

And all this talk about how riders were better back then, bullshat, just like they don't make cars like they used to, Agostini is the greatest, Eric Clapton is God.

  2. It may be that local people who attend the EWR have no interest in who wins but I doubt it.

It saddens me to see a group of riders who are all capable of winning as individuals but fail to be a team.

Is there a rule in speedway that prevents riders practicing at their own track in a simulated race scenario, like with tapes and actual races against each other?

I'm looking forward to some more answers.

  3. When are the averages taken into account to decide who rides at number 1, Lewis Kerr is obviously our best rider and the sooner he rides at 1 the better, i hope Matt Williamson has a good meeting for us on Sunday.

Why does Josh Auty ride at 5?

Will the EWR be empty by May?

Why can away riders ride the track better than home riders?

How does having a lerger bar help the team?

Why do the mics sound like that?

Is Andreas Lyager still in the picture?

  4. Oh dear, another home defeat, just not good enough apart from Lewis Kerr, didn't like seeing Auty passed by Starke round the outside.

Rob Godfrey has said it before about how the track is prepared for the scorpions to ride round the outside and they ride the inside line as the away team go round them, i know it takes big balls to ride these bikes and i certainly couldn't do it but it is what they are employed for.

Hope things improve next Sunday or I'll be going to Redcar instead.

  5. Missed the end of last season due to financial woes so didnt see Fritz, from what i read he's going to be a great numbber 6, shame Alex hit problems but I think Fritz will more than make up for him, on their day the rest of them are great around the EWR, we should have no problems with any visitors.

    Tungate and Covatti as individuals

will be hard to beat though.

    Looking forward to it.
