Helped by a team that agree a fixture then pull out. -
If the Bees would have been able to stay at Brandon in the top division would he have had the funds for that. He was going to sign a three year lease on the stadium, wasn't he?

The most points Panthers have scored in a home meeting, this season, is 53. It is highly unlikely that they will score 60. Unless Scunthorpe fall foul of mechanical issues or in meeting injuries Worrall, Garrity, Allen and Neilsen should have enough to score 32 points between them. -
Does he not own Peterborough?

Ah speedway and the truth. Interesting concept -
Wolves central defender, Ryan Bennett, used to be a regular at Kings Lynn when he played for Norwich. I'm sure when Lewis Kerr had his crash at Peterborough Ryan auctioned a pair of his boots to raise some money for Lewis.

Couldn't agree more. Right up there with " from where I was standing/sitting, it looked OK to me" -
Did say I could be wrong. Should have done the research. The 8 day rule doesn't apply if the guest is replacing the home No.1
-
Don't think the 8 day rule applies if he is replacing the No.1. Could be wrong though.

I think, on appeal, Peterborough fined a grand for each of the three meetings Holder missed. No action against Holder as he was given permission by Peterborough to go to Poland. -

Thought Edwin said the ref was Mick Bates -
The last time I was in Poland watching speedway two riders from each team get to do some pre meeting practice laps. Isn't it about time this was introduced here.

If it he was to blame wouldn't we just be told that "the actions of Mr Godfrey were accepted as being made at all times with the best intentions, and in consideration of his role within British Speedway". (Borrowed the quote from the SCB) -
And maybe Peterborough knew the rules were illegal.
