Thats the side that is on the save Coventry website, no changes have been put on there....yet

Bees have announced the team for this challenge, no suprises at number 1 bomber is named as captain, Kyle Howarth and Ben Barker take the other heat leader roles, the Thompson twins, Connor Mountain and Freddy Hodder make up the rest of the septet.
Presume the Brummies will have their regular side barring injuries and Mr Morris?

From an entertainment perspective it would make perfect business sense to combine the two at the same venue. Unfortunately is doesn't bode well for speedway unless they could fit a speedway track inside the greyhound track inside the racecourse but I don't know what the housing situation is around Dunstall Park.
The racecourse now covers about half the site it used to be on, i visited the old course a few times in the eighties before they sold off some of the land and reduced the size, and guess what became of that land....housing

Spot on, has not wanted to know this country the last few years, not even bothered with the British final for god knows how long, now he wants to top up his pension pot...

Just like they did at Swindon

So obviously the site is still not secure yet brandon estates are appealing the decision to fine them last year for not securing the site!

Just read a report on Coventry live about another incursion at brandon, apparently about 30 caravans turned up on tuesday and are currently sat on the car park.

Just said on sky sports news that there is no obligation for any events to be cancelled, it is down to the individual governing bodies.

Connor Mountain rode for the bees in 2018 when they were in the NL riding at Leicester.
Luke Crang rode for the Coventry Storm in the NL around 2014/15.
The Thompson twins were the mascots at brandon in their younger days.

And when/(if), someone like Len Silver decides that "time is up" you should really take heed if you are one of the other promoters...
Still...
I am sure many of those left know best..
Doubt it mike they will be too busy fighting over the riders that are now available

Absolutely nothing going by what i saw on the tv recently, greyhounds from Swindon were on sky sports, grass banks on the 1st and 2nd bends were all overgrown, same on the back straight where what is left of the stand looks derelict, all i could see of the home straight was an old looking corrugated roof, all in all not looking good considering we are into August come the weekend so seems little chance of the promised new works happening this year, if i was a Swindon fan i would be very worried.
