  1. The sport needs TV coverage and it needs to see the at home audience grow over the next few years to show the sport is progressing even if in reality it's TV figures, people love progressive sports and it needs that opportunity in order for it to become worth paying for, use BT even if free, grow the audience to sell to another broadcaster

  2. Separate race nights will increase doubling up but obviously at the same time separating clashes so it only benefit the promoters and riders not the credibility of the sport

R/R I agree with if a rider is missing no guests

Each team should name a number 8 from the national league to cover in a sort of squad system for another reserve missing

A job share at no.1 should happen if fixed race nights, might encourage the odds top rider but no matter what the question is they will want ££££££££££££££ and British speedway can't afford it

And promotors like the one at photo will likely announce that Dudek is guesting at no.1 then pack everyone into the stadium to only find out last minute it's r/r coz he's missed his flight

Credibility and integrity is what has to come from the AGM

  3. Fridays or Saturdays could work, no school next day, and if people can maybe do football Saturday afternoon speedway evening that could work or people use speedway socially on a Saturday before going off into town for a night out.

Will require a lot of cross promotion

  4. Sedgy was given an opportunity as a mainly neutral fan those around me even encouraged him after he clearly gave up on the second bend 3/4 times, after that I think it was too much

As for the club Richard and Chris were far too loyal to have kept him in the team for so long but credit to them in some way

  5. To be honest the top league must take priority to give the sport any credibility, you would never see the championship in football come out on top Vs the premier league

It's simple that the championship needs to join with the national league either as one league or some form of North/south with team strengths set low to around 32 points

The premiership needs to be set at around 42, would love to see averages rounded up or down to the nearest .5 or .0

But there are probably more important issues to discuss

  6. I would prefer to see top league racing as I'm sure it would attract additional revenue for the club that will offset the cost, I feel though perhaps there are one or two individuals at the club that the club would be better off without in terms of personnel (my view only of course) which may prevent the club reaping it's maximum reward.

Until the points limit is agreed then who knows, but Ipswich need to secure now regardless of league Heeps, Covatti, Sedgman and Hume then build around those

  7. I'm thinking more and more that we'll see the birth of the "BT Mobile Premiership" and that will see BT pick up the coverage "FOC" but some form of sponsorship for the league rights over two years and the promoters will have to use that money to offset when their meetings go out live

  8. Only for those who only watch on TV. Any TV deal must see the company pay a substantial amount of money. Don't forget BT paid big bucks for Moto GP, Australian Cricket and £8 million per match for football. They charge viewers to watch. They want speedway because they have no other live evening sport to show during the summer.

No cash ... no deal. It is about bringing money into the sport, not making it easier for those who don't put money into speedway to watch from their armchairs.

Domestic speedway has no value and the BSPA are the ones to blame, all the sports you mention are professionally run, marketed sports with large fan bases, British speedway is purely amateur run by amateurs
